Not so long ago, I heard Stefanny gretzinger pray "God save us from the industry". And now I heart it from you. I think God is awakening people, leaders and Christians in general for this cause.
The industry isnt the base cause. The industry of the lifestyle of man has plunged man into the abyss (box without a bottom) of darkness. Even Kim and Steff, everyone, don't realize yet what the box of the shelter of the Most High and the shadow of the Almighty is. Never a sabbath until you do. Light is sown like a seed for the righteous. Psalm 97:11. The steps are taken to the light and into the light to abide there unceasingly. Yes, never even prayer until you do. John 8:12, John 3:21, 1 John 1:7 The industry and church and believers are all 1 John 1:6. Isaiah 30:20-30. This is the only worship. Presenting your bodies as a living sacrifice in the glory of the incorruptible God. Romans 12:1,2. No worship until you stop falling short of the glory of God. Will she see her dead prayers answered here? The light is both covenants for day and night to be circumcised inwardly. {5:6} Therefore have we erred from the way of truth, and the light of righteousness hath not shined unto us, and the sun of righteousness rose not upon us. {5:7} We wearied ourselves in the way of wickedness and destruction: yea, we have gone through deserts, where there lay no way: but as for the way of the Lord, we have not known it.

As a worship music producer and engineer, I appreciate your heart in this. I wish there was more Kingdom executive producers and labels that could or would be willing to steward the worship music in a Kingdom way that includes actively taking direction from the King on what to do with all the music produced. Christianity has produced more music than another religion since the cross. We need to steward it well along with the rest of the arts and entertainment sphere.

Thanks for posting. The term "worship industry" resonated. I was a worship leader 8 years ago. Long story short, I stopped leading and left the institution because there was tremendous pressure to sound a certain way and create certain emotional experiences. Still sorting that one out. Oh, also, thanks for recording "How He Loves Us." We played it at my daughter's memorial. Really helped bring comfort.
I feel this. I felt God leading me to step away from leading worship in a 'church' setting nearly 5 yrs ago. I feel like I have been in a wilderness ever since and am also still trying to sort it all out. I honestly feel like God is leading me one way and everyone else is going a different direction. It has been excruciating! It is refreshing to hear that I am not alone and others are feeling this pull as well.

I have gone back and forth wondering if I heard God wrong and don't want to end up circling the same mountain for 40 yrs. I really think the prophetic are feeling the shift and we will see the transition from 'church industry' back to the simple basics; simple gospel, Biblical truth, raw worship, relationship focused. Jesus is flipping tables in the temple.
You’re speaking truth, Kim. If the world owns these songs, they can control the release of them, or just take them out of circulation. The body of Christ needs to work together to keep ownership of these to do work for His Kingdom, and His Glory!

I love this prayer. I’m a musician in my church, and this very issue has bothered my heart as well. Not only does the industry take what is God’s and keeps a hold on the songs, but it has distracted my own heart in my ambitions and most likely in others as well. I love how Jesus is faithfully purifying His bride and our worship. I’ll be praying with you!
This is probably why the Lord wants you to continue because of your pure, humble heart. Your worship music was my go to years ago when the Lord took me on a unique journey, deep into learning about his true character and nature. I spent hours and hours in worship with "I will pursue you". I played it over and over. The Lord is also moving in the church. In my circles ive heard this a lot. We over complicate things and maybe the Lord is wanting the simplicity back.

Dear Kim, I have thought this for years. whenever I watch the Christian music awards shows I’ve always felt a little grieved. I’m not saying they are wrong but there’s something about it that’s not quite right. I have grown in my walk with the Lord enough to be able to tell the difference between performance and true worship. I just want you to know how much I appreciate your heart and you are one of my “go-tos”on UA-cam when I worship the Lord.
Love it !!!! I feel the same way, worship is something pure that belongs to Him Only !!!! I lead worship at church and sometimes the congregation needs to learn how worship not just singing like Karaoke I would love to have you as my Mentor and definitely I'll be praying

I've been going through this also, since my husband passed away 9 years ago. I brought My girls to Whitney Island WA. Big Fork Montana, Kenya Africa and more...We literally walk step by step day by day with Jesus, stepping out in Faith on where He sends us. He has PROVEN to us to be The Lord our God and there is no other... We already Knew This!! But, He wanted to Prove it to this widow & my fatherless kids, so we would keep on, keeping on, Not following a "church " But following "Holy Spirit" in Complete, Crazy, Blind Faith!!!!😢 I Love Him so much & all I've been through with Him, NOTHING else seems real!!! I just wait for Heaven, so Life will START.... I could write 20 books on the MIRICLES God has done for and through us since my husband passed and we 100% insisted in the Lord's Army! Praying for you, Kim. I been there and am coming out now. The wilderness is actually pastureland in Israel. Shepherds know where the grass is and take the sheep there because it is not obviously seen with the eyes. From my experience, the wilderness is used to teach us a greater reliance on the Shepherd to provide for us in a place where it isn't obvious. God bless you as you get to know our Father better.
Kim, this is my statement to you and I don’t know if you read this or not but I want to write palm a while back called the little things when you’re in the wilderness in the uncomfortable and this is there it’s supposed to be it’s how we grow, but take a look around you the little blessings we take for granite every day every day there is a blessing for God‘s children. We just have to look at it and know what it is, you have a gift for the world and that gift is going to teach the world how to praise him and I want to thank you for that. Just remember the little things they’re around.

Kim, you are an amazing child of God and I have listened to your worship for over seven years and God sees your Heart and it’s pure. I knew that right away, listening to your worship music and you’ve reached so many people including myself during Covid, You came to Fort Myers Florida to a church, and you drove all the way here with your husband, and that was one of the most wonderful times in my life because I got to spend it with my mom Passed away a couple years ago and I just don’t want you-to give up on the music because even though the music may be used for bad by the industry, Lord knows you’re using your gift to sing to reach people like myself. We need true worshipers to own their own music and publishing more. The secular businesses are not about Jesus, they are about making money. You're exactly right, Kim! Streaming platforms mean that we only have license to listen to songs, we don't own any of these tracks and we don't have the right to listen to anything other than what they allow us to on UA-cam, iTunes, Spotify, etc. This is yet another reason to buy physical media and support your favorite worship leaders.

I always see heavenly light surrounding you in those times, and it's sooo angelically surrendering! We need the Holy Spirit to fill the world with His love. To cover us with His healing oil. We need a full revival in His Honor.... He is coming soon!! But if you never sing another song, the ones you have are enough! Your voice, the words in your songs, and your pure heart in worship will ALWAYS remain powerful for all the other hearts searching and starving for truth! I love you, my sister in Christ! He will give you the answers you seek! I believe and declare that the music you write for Jesus will outshine and outpower all the rest, like it will light a fire 🔥 in the world for Jesus, that will cause a shift so huge that it'll not only change the industry but define it! Thanks for speaking up Mrs. Kim Walker. I've thought about that too! There's alot of things I've notice going on in the church. And I've been told im crazy when i even try to point one thing out against it. I don't think the church should be like that and I SERIOUSLY want to leave the church for these reasons because nobody has time for these games!

9:11 The answer is do it for free. Always. None of us are to profit financially off the word of God (includes Worship music). We all have to repent for Him to heal our land. Freely we give, freely we receive.
Each person is a worshiper. I think it’s time we all worship in the Spirit and not look to a person to lead us to the foot of the Father. That said, I wish my voice was like yours or Steff’s but this is what I got and I’m going to make a joyful noise anyway. We are all kings and priests now in Christ. Keep writing and singing!!! It’s time to become an organic Church with true relationships with each other.
Your comment about feeling uncomfortable about what you were noticing with secular companies buying the ownership rights to worship songs is a valid one. Noticing subtle things like that is part of being sensitive, part of the gift. The challenge is mixing what you are noticing with love. Love what you are doing. Keep it up! :)
I am totally with you and I have had that cool breeze/air experience with the Holy Spirit lately a couple times. It felt like a wide open space of expansion. I am loving these videos of yours because I understand what you are saying haha like I’m seeing it~ meaning the spirit is communicating so it’s manifold. Anyway, I too am probably a little rebellious but in a good way and I too have been in a wilderness but I don’t want the intimacy and time with the Lord to change. I would no t trade what’s been produced during this time for anything. I just want to go deeper in Him and depend on Him more and more. I really want out of my job~ hehe can I get paid to spend time with the LORD 🎉? Of course I am always with Him but you know what I am saying… alright kill stop now~ love and shalom ❤
Random thoughts: I think of the song Heart of Worship ( when the music fades and all is stripped away, and I simply come….I’m coming back to the heart of worship, it’s all about you). I also think of Keith Green who gave his music away for what people could afford and/or felt led to give. Music is emotional and it is easy to feed the flesh and stir peoples emotion which is totally different from leading people into the presence of the Lord and being His instrument for Him to minister to people. I pray God continues to speak to you and use you to lead people into His presence. The ‘wilderness’ topic resonates with me to. I wrote/recorded a song, “Grace in the Wilderness” several years ago. It’s on my UA-cam channel .

I’d love to see some inspirational, quick videos on topics such as maybe depression and lifting those of us up, videos like that (and other topics). I love this prayer. I’m a musician in my church, and this very issue has bothered my heart as well. Not only does the industry take what is God’s and keeps a hold on the songs, but it has distracted my own heart in my ambitions and most likely in others as well. I love how Jesus is faithfully purifying His bride and our worship. I’ll be praying with you!

This is probably why the Lord wants you to continue because of your pure, humble heart. Your worship music was my go to years ago when the Lord took me on a unique journey, deep into learning about his true character and nature. I spent hours and hours in worship with "I will pursue you". I played it over and over.
The Lord is also moving in the church. In my circles ive heard this a lot. We over complicate things and maybe the Lord is wanting the simplicity back.

Dear Kim, I have thought this for years. whenever I watch the Christian music awards shows I’ve always felt a little grieved. I’m not saying they are wrong but there’s something about it that’s not quite right. I have grown in my walk with the Lord enough to be able to tell the difference between performance and true worship. I just want you to know how much I appreciate your heart and you are one of my “go-tos”on UA-cam when I worship the Lord.

Praying for you, Kim. I been there and am coming out now. The wilderness is actually pastureland in Israel. Shepherds know where the grass is and take the sheep there because it is not obviously seen with the eyes. From my experience, the wilderness is used to teach us a greater reliance on the Shepherd to provide for us in a place where it isn't obvious. God bless you as you get to know our Father better.

Kim, this is my statement to you and I don’t know if you read this or not but I want to write palm a while back called the little things when you’re in the wilderness in the uncomfortable and this is there it’s supposed to be it’s how we grow, but take a look around you the little blessings we take for granite every day every day there is a blessing for God‘s children. We just have to look at it and know what it is, you have a gift for the world and that gift is going to teach the world how to praise him and I want to thank you for that. Just remember the little things they’re around.
Yahweh is doing the same with my family. God is moving! We are the Dwelling Place of God…and God is our dwelling place!

Kim, you are an amazing child of God and I have listened to your worship for over seven years and God sees your Heart and it’s pure. I knew that right away, listening to your worship music and you’ve reached so many people including myself during Covid, You came to Fort Myers Florida to a church, and you drove all the way here with your husband, and that was one of the most wonderful times in my life because I got to spend it with my mom Passed away a couple years ago and I just don’t want you-to give up on the music because even though the music may be used for bad by the industry, Lord knows you’re using your gift to sing to reach people like myself. We need true worshipers to own their own music and publishing more. The secular businesses are not about Jesus, they are about making money. You're exactly right, Kim!
Streaming platforms mean that we only have license to listen to songs, we don't own any of these tracks and we don't have the right to listen to anything other than what they allow us to on UA-cam, iTunes, Spotify, etc. This is yet another reason to buy physical media and support your favorite worship leaders.

One thing that I feel is missing in today's worship is pure worship like yours 🙌 Crying out to God 😢 being vulnerable and baring the soul.
Some of the most powerful songs of yours are the ones with you literally crying with your hands raised in that quiet, pure place of worship and aren't on a time limit. I always see heavenly light surrounding you in those times, and it's sooo angelically surrendering!
We need the Holy Spirit to fill the world with His love. To cover us with His healing oil. We need a full revival in His Honor.... He is coming soon!!
But if you never sing another song, the ones you have are enough!

Each person is a worshiper. I think it’s time we all worship in the Spirit and not look to a person to lead us to the foot of the Father. That said, I wish my voice was like yours or Steff’s but this is what I got and I’m going to make a joyful noise anyway. We are all kings and priests now in Christ. Keep writing and singing!!! It’s time to become an organic Church with true relationships with each other.

Your comment about feeling uncomfortable about what you were noticing with secular companies buying the ownership rights to worship songs is a valid one. Noticing subtle things like that is part of being sensitive, part of the gift. The challenge is mixing what you are noticing with love. Love what you are doing. Keep it up! :)
I am totally with you and I have had that cool breeze/air experience with the Holy Spirit lately a couple times. It felt like a wide open space of expansion. I am loving these videos of yours because I understand what you are saying haha like I’m seeing it~ meaning the spirit is communicating so it’s manifold. Anyway, I too am probably a little rebellious but in a good way and I too have been in a wilderness but I don’t want the intimacy and time with the Lord to change. I would no t trade what’s been produced during this time for anything. I just want to go deeper in Him and depend on Him more and more. I really want out of my job~ hehe can I get paid to spend time with the LORD 🎉? Of course I am always with Him but you know what I am saying… alright kill stop now~ love and shalom ❤

Random thoughts: I think of the song Heart of Worship ( when the music fades and all is stripped away, and I simply come….I’m coming back to the heart of worship, it’s all about you). I also think of Keith Green who gave his music away for what people could afford and/or felt led to give. Music is emotional and it is easy to feed the flesh and stir peoples emotion which is totally different from leading people into the presence of the Lord and being His instrument for Him to minister to people. I pray God continues to speak to you and use you to lead people into His presence. The ‘wilderness’ topic resonates with me to. I wrote/recorded a song, “Grace in the Wilderness” several years ago. It’s on my UA-cam channel .

I just love your music, Kim❤. You have gotten me thru some very dark days, and you still get me thru every single night! Your music is all over in my playlist. I’d love to see some inspirational, quick videos on topics such as maybe depression and lifting those of us up, videos like that (and other topics). Having videos like that also in my playlist going thru my subconscious while I’m sleeping, or even when I’m laying there and can’t sleep, is very helpful. I’m sure I’m not alone in this. There’s videos like this everywhere. But I’d love to see this from you! It would add content to your channel!
I hope you see this. I noticed that you don’t really reply to UA-cam. You do on FB. But I don’t really use that. I know it’s tough to manage comments. You have to go to UA-cam Studios to see that people have commented on, or you have to click on every single video to see them. They don’t come in to the notifications. I know you’re fairly new to UA-cam. So this is all just some tips and things I’d like to see.
