Some ppl think liking a love story isn't "cool" enough and trash on this film for no reason. The fact on the other hand is that after such a long time did a superhero movie actualy feel POSITIVE and gives a great message. Hollywood has gone so much into the realism & darkness of superhero world that they have completely forgotten the awe & hopethese films bring to us. Even with all it's issues in dialogues and maybe partially in writing, this movie will always be close to my heart
No offence but I rewatched the movie after a year and it's not even the dialogues, the writing is literally the worst part about the movie... The way scenes are written, every scene feels forced... The love story is also really poor tbh and the reason for the chemistry working even 5% is because we know Ranbir and Alia are married irl, if that didn't happened, then the love story in the movie wouldn't have worked at all.

The power of astra is linked to the stone/artifact they hold. Shiva having control of fire is an anomaly since the legitimate holder of Agneyastra is Dev. The Dev scene in the last minute is HARD.
this movie is based on a freshly new concept. There are no books/comics/source material the film follows. It was created from scratch by the director himself. Though it has really heavy essance & inspiration from Indian Scriptures
Actually the bull guy has 2nd part of brahamstra with which shiva came to asharam. So The part you saw in guru's hand was of bull guy and the third part of brahmastra was actually that conch of amrita which was present in shiva house all the time . Isha went to shiva home and brought it to asharam
Glad you liked it. Indians have a love hate relationship with this movie. Love it because of the VFX, action, camera work and BGM -- basically all the fantasy elements which was its USP worked. I notice how excited your were by it. But I really wishe they had gone lower on all the cheese, the lovey dovey crap and focused more on fantasy and VFX. It nearly ruined it for me having Isha constantly shouting "Shiva" and needing to be saved. The way they fall in love straight away and how she quickly believes him and joins his adventure. Her entire character is a pretty irrelevant one that just jumps on the adventure for the ride having no power of her own, no goals of her own, just eye candy. They could have either shown they were already married at the start or given her some kind of power to justify the match -- being pretty and cute don't count as a power Lol
At the end (climax) he tried to use his power to protect her that awakened his power without any source (in short he knows his powers but he dont know how to awaken it without isha and a fire source) Recently Brahmastra announced that they started the progress of Brahmastra 2 and 3 together Brahmastra 2 will release at the end of 2024 or might take 2025 and Brahmastra 3 on 2026. Recently there was a leak of brahmastra 2 concept art (like the animation shown at the beginning of the movie)
the girl wasnt to one that gave shiva full potential it was the brahmastra he controled it the light entered his body so now he can generate fire which is agni from his body he doesent need matches lighters or some like that he can generate fire with his body and in part 2 maybe he will use his water powers its not a spoiler bcz im not sure so im sorry

@@Amicy It was released in USA in theaters. In India it is avaliable on OTT provider "Zee 5 " a subsidiary of Zee studios. (OTT is platforms like Netfix and Amazon). Well I watched it in theaters. Some social movies are free on such platforms but i have no idea about it that is it free or not. Well in India same movie can be bought by many OTT platforms but they will be in different language. RRR Hindi version right is with Netflix while Telugu right is with Zee 5. Well thank you for consideration .
