Daredevil parachutes off Birmingham skyscraper causing huge police frenzy

This was the hair-raising moment an adrenaline junkie caused a panicked police frenzy after he parachuted off a Birmingham city centre skyscraper. The daredevil, who chose to remain anonymous, leapt off the 509-foot 'One Eastside' tower block at the corner of James Watt Queensway.
Mesmerising footage shows the BASE jumper fall from the top of the 51-storey apartment building, still under construction, before deploying his parachute at the last second. The thrill-seeker then calmly floats between two National Express buses before landing on his feet outside B&M.

We never used to.
One Eastside and The Octagon (both still under construction but topped out) are our only two towers that meet the generally agreed height to classify as a skyscraper, which is 150+ metres.
Everything else high rise and noticeable in Birmingham is between 90 and 140 metres which are not really skyscrapers.

I'd ask the same question, it's a fair question ask when somebody falls from the sky on a parachute when in reality the police know darn well he's just base jumped it.
