Nice to see Corky finally come out of his shell... has to be the nicest, most coherent man in R n R history... and one hell of a drummer!!! Love the Woodstock story
THAT is a great story! Well told! I had no idea about Corky's pre Mountain connections with Felix and certainly that he dubbed the drum track to Goin' Home. My appreciation of him is magnified. What a cool guy, too. Thanks Corky for the great Mountain show at Catholic University 1970.
Now THAT was a really great 15 minutes spent listening to a musician I always liked but never knew how interesting he is! Going to listen to part II now!
WOW! I didn't know Corky could shuffle his way through Rick Lee's performance. Always saw Corky as a great power drummer that many people copied later for years. Kudos to you, man 👍
You could almost believe Corky's drums were added to BLOOD OF THE SUN in post-production, replacing ND Smart's performance. A lot of tomfoolery was perpetrated on "live" recordings back then. In any case ... that's Corky on that double vinyl.
Corky is SO COOL! Not only is he a KICK ASS drummer---but he has a great personality to match! mean, he is a HOOT with his storytelling and I love his sense of humor as well! He reminds me a lot of Alice Cooper
HEY wait a darm tooton minute Corly said that Felix told him in the studio he was changing the songs name and Corky said thats ok as long as you give me credit for the words BUT here corky says he did not know that Felix changed the name of the song Who Am I But The Sun intill he got the gold record for it ???????????? He is like Paul McCartney always changing the story lol but thats ok i like Corky he is cool
Good talker .A charming guy . Lots of stories .He drops a lot of names , but doesn't sound conceited at all . He has the pedigree to back it the fuck up .

Corky is a cool dude! I'll always be a Mountain fan!
You gotta love Corky. Legendary drummer and so down to earth.
Great story by Corky about drumming to Ten Years After`s famous Woodstock performance in studio!
Saw WBL in 1972. Corky seems like a real good guy and very approachable. Good Interview.

I saw Mountain live and never knew if Corky threw the sticks into the audience or if they would fly out of his hands. Unique drummer.
Love how Corky slips in these quick little impressions of Leslie West and Ahmet Erdegun.
Got Flowers Of Evil back in the day love Mountain Great Great American Rock n Roll Band !!!!!!!!!!!!

Met him several times, gentle and funny man!
thanks for posting this great interview..love the stories from Corky!

Many Thx Corky for giving us MORE COWBELL years before BOC & SNL.
Wow! He redid the drums on "Goin' Home" from Woodstock? That's crazy cool! Never heard that. Great guy.
Corky is one of the coolest! 🎶🎵👍👍✌✌👌
Was also at that Stones / Stevie Wonder concert in Montréal in 1972
Corkey is the best drummer ever!
That Goin' home story was absolutely epic!
You could almost believe Corky's drums were added to BLOOD OF THE SUN in post-production, replacing ND Smart's performance. A lot of tomfoolery was perpetrated on "live" recordings back then. In any case ... that's Corky on that double vinyl.

Tried to meet Corky once on Nantucket. (1977 I think) Went to his house and wow did he get pissed off. Wtf...guess he didnt have people skills.

More cowbell!
I could swear these guys in Mountain were from Birmingham UK.
The first moon landing was in July of '69, Corky, not August.

its MountAIn not Montian!
Mountian? Over and over??
The interviewer said hip hop was around for 40 plus years?! Um, sorry. No. Hip hop was not around in the mid 70's.
Rap has been around since the 70’s
Terrible interviewer . Too much time worshiping Corky and not getting to the important historical questions.
Holy fuck - what a mess!
I don’t know, maybe it’s me, but was hoping for a little more than whatever this bullshit was.
Yawn.
You're so wrong.
