One of the worst things you can do is park cars on grass! The humidity from the grass/dirt gets sucked up by the undercarriage and rots just like salt! 💣
Never understood the dude parking his cars randomly all over the place. Laying down some pebble and have a proper place to park would make the most common sense.
Literally everyone says this; a bunch of people like it, and it gets treated like fact. I would put a car sitting under grass in Florida for 10 years and would love to compare it to a car in a northern state that is actively used in salty conditions for half that amount of time. Modern cars with undercoating and a metal floor "ABSORB WATER FROM THE GRASS AND DIRT" this is just an amazing, but really stupid comment that is nothing more than someones imagination at work. Yes a car will get sun destroyed and will definitely rot out eventually but it will start so wherever the water COLLECTS, not on the bottom.
@@Samcrac my first thought with the cars on grass is possible rodent problems and ants/bugs/reptiles/mean roosters damaging your cars. Why not try to find a decent building to store them in?
@@Samcrac 100% correct, water alone really just is not a problem for modern galvanised steel - it needs an electrolyte to eat the galvanization rapidly to start the rust - but sadly people don't science much so don't understand how galvanized steel works to prevent rust. I live in NZ, it rains like fuck here all the time to the point where my wife's car (which is the one that gets parked outside) is wet probably 70%+ of the year - it's a 19 year old Toyota that's been living outside for the last 14 years. Not even a tiny patch of rust on it. Now of course eventually the gavanization will give out, but with just rain water, it'll no doubt last for many decades to come. Of course they don't salt the roads here ever either, even further down the island where it does snow regularly they just use grit and scrapers.

If you like classic cars at all, there is a rare car junkyard in the middle of nowhere near me, the guy is very talkative and polite and he has a lot of neat and rare vehicles and cars

Good reason to never get involve in to many projects, even those that can actually fix them, then cars will start piling up.
It better to complete a couple, then have a dozen sitting around taking space up and now have to find someone to buy them which is a hassle in itself.

For that x5 change the ecm!!ive had several cars start throwing so many codes. Like 20-25 codes every day. I changed the ecm and all my issues went away! Wife wrecked the car three weeks later

What the heck was living under the hood of the bimmer? You can see it climbing around after he opens the hood in the fender area. It did not run away and that's pretty creepy.

It is not a Z51, if anything it could be a Z52 which is the automatic version and does not have the adjustable ride.

For LEFT hand drive cars, the driver uses the left hand/arm for the driving wheel. Since most drivers are right handed, the wrong hand is being used to steer on LHD cars. Most intelligence goes into the right hand for RHed people.

Usually when I removed the big rims that came on the blue BMW they take the brake calipers and rotors with it for a big brake kit when they put on the smaller BMW rims on it they also put the smaller brake calipers and rotors it came with the other BMW small rims on to that model and then you bought it so possibly the brake rotors and brake calipers were changed with the complete rim and brake swap on to some other BMW

The S4 is nice, but the blue mystery BMW seems like more “fun” for the channel (WRX owner, so I like blue too). $15k is too much…the mystery should be a bigger negotiation point; or returnable if engine is bad or something!!
