Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence and action, thematic elements, and brief strong language. Making a WWII film PG-13, is laughable. WWII was not a "PG-13" war

Ridley Scott's original vision is the Final Cut finally released back in 2007. All those versions were edits due to studio interference and Scott couldn't do anything about it. With the story being "messy", I'm so sorry Scott told an intelligent story that didn't hold your hand all throughout. It certainly wasn't made to be only a sci-fi crime thriller. It's brilliant stuff.

Denis Villeneuve is a French name so I (a French-Canadian) will teach people how to pronounce it by spelling it phonetically : DuhNee Vill Nuv. i'm eager to watch Wonder Woman, but other than that, you guys pretty much covered it. But i did enjoy Batman vs Superman, the extended edition. Honestly, you guys should do more videos together. You are awesome.
I'm looking forward to Star Wars Episode VIII, Logan, Guardians 2, BladeRunner 2049, but one film that wasn't mentioned here that I'm looking forward to is Ghost in the Shell!
I swear, you guys are like this generations Siskel and Ebert. You should totally do more movie reviews together, like all movie reviews together. I love watching your independent reviews, but I never miss a chance to see you two together.
One Blade runner is my all time fave movie .Two there are three main cuts ,the cinema release that the suits wanted the directors cut that Ridley wanted and that would have been it but the 3rd cut with the. advent of digital technoligy gave Ridley the chance to do what he couldnt do before about some minor stuff that always niggled. him and that time constraints. and an uptight studio and old tech couldnt allow.Even in its original cut its. in the stratosphere of movies and something so good had to be given its complete original vision by its director.Thats my obsessive love letter to Mr R Scott
I'm most excited for the followinf directors who are releasing movies in 2017. Christopher Nolan,Edgar Wright, Duncan Jones, Darren Aronofsky, Rian Johnson, Steven Soderbergh,Richard Linklater, Guillermo Del Toro and Taika Waititi.
Why is it Thor has more dutch angles than Battlefield Earth? When a Marvel movie reminds me of one of the worst reviewed movies ever made, that's never a good sign.
The Justice League is going to be a colossal mess. There is no story build up and what's there literally contradicts itself. There is no recovering from what they've set up.
1. blade runner 2049 2. justice league 3. wonder woman 4. alien 5 5. ghost in the shell 6. Logan 7. dunkirk 8. War for The Planet of the Apes 9. john wick 2
Please do that Bladerunner review/discussion Chris! I'm the same way, I appreciate certain aspects of it, but I'd be lying if I said that I liked the film as a whole, very interested in hearing your thoughts!
Logan, Wonder Woman, and Blade Runner 2049 are my most anticipated. Maybe A Cure for Wellness too. Ghost In The Shell, Dunkirk(nolan is overrated btw), Kong, Apes, Spider-Man, Star wars, Baby Driver, Justice League, Rangnarok(have to see more though), Trainspotting 2, Gotg2, The Dark Tower, and Coco are some other promising ones
Mine is (1) Wonder Woman, (2) Logan, (3) War of the Planet of the apes, (4) guardians of the Galaxy 2, (5) Blade Runner 2049, (6) Thor Ragnarok, (7) Justice league, (8) Alien covenant, (9) Kong Skull island, (10) John Wick 2, (11) Star Wars the last Jedi, (12) Transformers the Last Knight......
My most anticipated is star wars by far, the force awakens is probably my favorite movie to come out this decade so far and I hope I even love the last jedi even more.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi Logan Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Blade Runner 2049 Dunkirk Spider-Man: Homecoming War for the Planet of the Apes Kong: Skull Island Alien: Covenant Justice League Thor: Ragnarok Wonder Woman John Wick: Chapter 2 Beauty and the Beast Kingsman: The Golden Circle Ghost in the Shell The Dark Tower The LEGO Batman Movie Coco Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets this is going to be an amazing year
My most anticipated movie of this year is Dunkirk followed by Star Wars Episode 8. I will only see Justice League if Wonder Woman is good, I hated both BvS and Suicide Squad so if Wonder Woman sucks they don't deserve my money at that points
Aarrgh, I'm so sick of every single movie critic talking shit about Man of Steel and Batman V Superman. Those are simply not bad movies. Your opinion may be that you didn't enjoy them, but as far as action, cinematography, spectacle, and special effects go, these were badass movies that make the old Superman movies look like 90s Power Rangers. Also, it had the most incredible Batmobile sequence ever done, in movies, comics, and games. And as far as opinion goes, I think a lot of ppl just got stuck in that mindset that it's cool to hate DC and Snyder, and all the big critics don't like it, why would you? I'm being a little harsh, but I get sick of everyone saying you're an idiot if you like these movies.
Justice League is going to be a good movie? "And i thought my jokes were bad". Logan reminds me of a bartender who owns a bar called Logan's turd, The Last Jedi is going to be the last but best blockbuster in '17
When it comes to upcoming movies, what I usually do is try to keep minimal expectations. I can still be excited for a movie but I'm not all "This is going to be so good!" or anything like that. Keeping minimal expectations makes it so you're less likely to be disappointed, at least when I watch movies.
As much as you guys love Blade Runner but don't love it that's understandable, the Book is a lot different. You should do a review on movies based on Philip K. Dick adaptations. I've recently been watching old interviews with him as well as reading his books and watching his movie adaptations, the guy was way ahead of his time and it's too bad he passed away even before the original blade runner was finished. Total Recall, Screamers, Minority Report, A Scanner Darkly, Blade Runner, Impostor, The Adjustment Beureu etc etc. All movies based off his hundreds of stories.
Hugh Jackman hinted something, few people caught it on facebook, "this is my reaction on the first logan movie" there will be a second at the very least
This is Chris Stuckmann! He's got my back! He could get you obsessed with a movie with one review just like a good RT score! I would advise not getting addicted to him! His reviews trap the souls of his fans!
actually he was serious the whole time. Its in bvs at the end. He was playing insane to be treated in a mental house if his plan fails. It feels like im interpreting in a little to much for a brief moment, he plays lex like he should´ve
Hey, it could happen. For anyone that's aware of the origin of.... I think Great White Shark or something like that, he was a normal dude playing crazy to avoid jail and Arkham fucked him up bad making him into _that_.
Roma 58 Batman, Superman and Luthor were the main characters. Doomsday and Wonder Woman were secondary characters. Also MAKE UP YOUR MIND ALREADY! First you people complain that there are too many characters, then you complain that those character had too little screen time and then you complain about too many characters AGAIN! WHAT THE FUCK YOU ACTUALLY WANT?!?!?
See what I'm saying? I didn't complain that there weren't enough characters. The story was too bloated. But whatever. Neither of us are going to change our minds. Let's just see how the Justice League movie will go.

No mention of Baby Driver, Edgar Wright's next film, it looks amazing
Josh Allen The Boss Baby?
I have no fear when I say this: Edgar Wright is one of the greatest directors of the 21st century!! That his films don't make blockbuster numbers at the box office is an atrocity! He hasn't made ONE BAD MOVIE YET, NOT ONE!!! Awaiting Baby Driver
it's an adam driver biopic
Isiskos the Cornetto trilogy is phenomenal! All 3 films work perfectly within their own universes and yet hilarious, deep, dark, and overall fun! Don't wanna hype too much lest you be disappointed but definitely check em out!!
Michael Otis The Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy is the best cinematic universe of all time
There is a lot of great movie's coming out this year.
How do you know they will be great?
Seanh2k11 How do u know they wont be?
Paul Gilmore how to you know they will be
"How do you know they won't be" might be the stupidest most idiotic answer I'll ever read. +Seanh2k11 didn't say they are all gonna suck, he just said that we can't tell until they are out
AnaheimDucks93 everyone said that about 2016 only for the majority of the movies to sucks donkey dick

Max Krampe u warner bros right?
Manuel Danner nope iam a dc fan but the level of movies they are releasing is emberrasing
+Manuel Danner Dc and WB are making money regardless!
Max Krampe the only thing that is embarrassing is your grammar and spelling. Again, everything you are stating is subjective and your opinion.

Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence and action, thematic elements, and brief strong language.
Making a WWII film PG-13, is laughable. WWII was not a "PG-13" war
RemixedVoice you got that from the expected rating in the imdb parents guide.

If you're wondering, Nicolas Cage's birth name is Nicolas Kim Coppola
The bootleg Thor poster was hilarious
i'm eager to watch Wonder Woman, but other than that, you guys pretty much covered it.
New Star Wars, Alien and Blade Runner! It's a science fiction dream haha great video John :)
Jude Isuru Fernando steven Spielberg, Paul w.s Anderson, Kathryn Bigelow as well
Adam Hudson Spielberg's Ready Player One doesn't come out til 2018
love watching both of your reviews!!!
So when are you guys going to do a local meet and greet for the Cleveland area???
Why is it Thor has more dutch angles than Battlefield Earth? When a Marvel movie reminds me of one of the worst reviewed movies ever made, that's never a good sign.
The Justice League is going to be a colossal mess. There is no story build up and what's there literally contradicts itself. There is no recovering from what they've set up.
1. blade runner 2049
2. justice league
3. wonder woman
4. alien 5
5. ghost in the shell
6. Logan
7. dunkirk
8. War for The Planet of the Apes
9. john wick 2
Dunkirk and Guardians of the Galaxy are my most anticipated films! Beauty and the Beast was amazing!
How I see dceu...
man of steel-foul ball
bvs doj-strike
suicide squad-strike
wonder woman-N/A
Justice league-N/A
Mine is (1) Wonder Woman, (2) Logan, (3) War of the Planet of the apes, (4) guardians of the Galaxy 2, (5) Blade Runner 2049, (6) Thor Ragnarok, (7) Justice league, (8) Alien covenant, (9) Kong Skull island, (10) John Wick 2, (11) Star Wars the last Jedi, (12) Transformers the Last Knight......
That Ghost in the Shell/Pulp Fiction shirt! I want it!
My most anticipated is star wars by far, the force awakens is probably my favorite movie to come out this decade so far and I hope I even love the last jedi even more.
thats why the harry potter movies felt fresh every time to me because they changed the directors a few times
Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Logan
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
Blade Runner 2049
Dunkirk
Spider-Man: Homecoming
War for the Planet of the Apes
Kong: Skull Island
Alien: Covenant
Justice League
Thor: Ragnarok
Wonder Woman
John Wick: Chapter 2
Beauty and the Beast
Kingsman: The Golden Circle
Ghost in the Shell
The Dark Tower
The LEGO Batman Movie
Coco
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets
this is going to be an amazing year
My most anticipated movie of this year is Dunkirk followed by Star Wars Episode 8. I will only see Justice League if Wonder Woman is good, I hated both BvS and Suicide Squad so if Wonder Woman sucks they don't deserve my money at that points
It's a FlickPick vid. but it's in Chris' studio, I was hoping he'd say "Get Stuckmanized" :(
How about "Get Flicked?"
Sum Won Yeah! Or "Get Flicksterized"? :P
My most anticipated film is Baby Driver, Edgar Wright is one of the best directors working today.
Superheroes and Star Wars. Why did I even bother watching this?
T2 - Trainspotting!
Really miss the "And if you like this, you click right here and get _Stuckmannised!_" part :\
And holy shit I just noticed Chris' shirt and MUST HAVE!
You guys should do more videos
Power Rangers
Kong
Logan
All in the same month. Let that soak in
Best UA-camr's out there!
Awesome video guys!
Bruce Banner on the left, Hulk on the right
A lot of superhero movies in your list, indeed. :D :D
I would suggest to add next "Ghost In the Shell" live movie as possible outsider
Mine is Guardians of the galaxy 2. I hope it is worth the wait.
Hugh Jackman hinted something, few people caught it on facebook,
"this is my reaction on the first logan movie"
there will be a second at the very least
I am anxious for Baby Driver. I love Edgar wright
You forgot freaking Lego Batman. It is gonna be one of the best movies this year 😍😍
Correction John. Rey had her hand out. Not Luke lol
So that's it, huh? We're some kind of...Most Anticipated Movies of 2017 w/ Chris Stuckmann?
This is Chris Stuckmann! He's got my back! He could get you obsessed with a movie with one review just like a good RT score! I would advise not getting addicted to him! His reviews trap the souls of his fans!
Jesse Eisenberg will return for justice league but only for a little bit like a couple or five mintues
But he will be bald and after Arkham his attitude will have changed to a more serious direction.
Arttu Lehmonen I fucking hope so.
Travis Likes Movies It's what Geoff Johns said would happen.
actually he was serious the whole time.
I'm more excited for ww than the justice league.
Robbie Rotten true
Same
Me too!!
Im more exited for the extended cut
They won't need an extended cut this time.
I usually get a lot of hate for not liking BvS, but I wanted it to work so badly. I hope that the Justice League movie will at least be better.
Roma 58 i loved bvs
As long as it's not cut shorter than originally planned like BvS was, it should get a more positive response from everyone.
They tried putting too much into the movie. Keep it between Batman, Superman, and Lex Luthor. You don't have to include Doomsday or Wonder Woman
Split. Proof January movies can be good.
Jordan Cadwell And last years Kung Fu Panda 3
Jordan Cadwell the bye bye man is proof aswell
Jordan Cadwell Except it was released in LA and NY in Dec
It's a December movie widely released in January. Those are usually good.
Galen Marek Like The Revenant
I'm actually legit pumped for Trainspotting 2
Gresh854 Same
Evan Acree Did it surpass your expectations?
fanboying 15 minutes does not make for a good video
I agree, that's why with half of the movies mentioned we talked about issues we might have with them.
+theFLICKpick
hi john, from Australia. did you end up trying the Vegemite on toast? I'd love to see and American like it for once haha :)
Chop up with the Boys yesss please john
Make your own videos then?
Mohamed haRidy yes it does
Is anyone else petrified for Wonder Woman and Justice League? Because i am sadly :(
Ben Wasserman I'm not because I loved MOS and BVS.
Man of steel was great, so i am pretty hopefull still for the DCU.
Ben Wasserman no one blames you. The DCEU has been trash so far. Literally zero reason to believe JL and WW will be good.
garygonzalez10 No I liked MoS and BvS but acknowledge they were flawed.
Ben Wasserman I'm crossing my fingers. Especially with Wonder Woman.
1. Justice League
2. Dunkirk
3. The Last Jedi
4. Logan
5. Blade Runner 2049
My personal top-5 for the year
Well unfortunately u had to wait 4 years for justice League
