Our value and self-worth isn't based on how attractive we are. Even conventionally-attractive people can be unhappy. The truth is that we're all victims to scarcity mindset and/or comparison pitfalls, but there's enough abundance and love for all.
Confidence comes from making values-based promises to yourself about what's important to you and how you wanna be in the world, and sticking to them. Keeping those promises to yourself is where you can build your confidence.
And unapologetically being you is an act of rebellion.
But our brains can still be mean to us, so when you’re struggling with self-confidence, try this:
🪞Here are My Top 3 Tips to Build Self-Confidence:
    1. Get angry! Let yourself feel those feelings. Hold space and grace for yourself in that moment, but then ask yourself: “Why am I feeling this way? Did someone make me question my self worth directly or indirectly? Why did I allow them to do so? How dare they? What gives them the right to criticize me?”
    2. Limit yourself to comparison-inducing media. This may seem hypocritical given that you’re reading this on some kind of social media platform, but you’re allowed to curate the things you see, and construct your algorithm to be positive, beautiful examples of human existence. I highly recommend a book called Beauty Sick by Renee Engeln if you wish to dive deeper into this.
    3. Dance for yourself in the mirror. If that feels like too much, then don't use the mirror and just dance for yourself. Be in your body and be in the sensation of enjoying your body.
In this video, I invite you to rebel with me in a little improvisational practice! Free yourself from self-judgment, critique, or that little voice in your head saying you're not good enough.

Hi, April. Can you please talk about how to deal with people that are constantly trying to copy you? Not only mannerisms and looks, but also your own style when dancing, but, of course, those people are the first in having opinions about your mannerisms, looks and style. I find it so annoying, cringe, frustrating and even creepy
