Hoka, Asics, On and Saucony been rising up since 2023. I feel sneakerheads been expanding and realizing most hype sneakers feel dead, and even Ultraboost aint cloud like anymore. It's nice to see the widespread of brands expanding. I love my dunks and aj1 highs, but damn, a max cushion shoe be laughing at their comfort.
I had a pair of hokas literally fall into my lap when I moved to Pensacola and they were the best work out shoes I’ve ever had/owned comfortable and practical I should’ve kept them I honestly don’t know what happened to them lmao
I been rocking the clifton 9s to work (healthcare) and they by far the most comfortable shoes I ever had. I also run in clifton 9s. For all other gym workouts I use a flatter shoe.
My first pair were the Olive 4s on sale. But Hoka is great every day comfort. Gym. Running, etc shoes. Clifton my go to. Ran those going thru academy training and no regrets. Bought my wife a pair for Christmas.
I caved in late last year and finally got a pair of hokas for work (i work retail as 1 of my 2 jobs). I got the clifton 9 in all white and love them. Not a sneaker I wear daily but just to work.
Thank you for the videos. It helped me with making decision. Eventually ended up going the Hoka strore in London( they are low on stock there and have no wide versions but at least had chance to see them in real life. I went for Gaviota 5 D. I want to get Bondi 8 as well but it's complete;y out of stock for interesting color versions. Whole Black or grey 2E are out of stock online -_-. I guess it's not the best timing )
I have a pair of the Frankenstein shoes the hoka. I brought my father a pair because he walk five mile a day at 82 he love them he use to wearing sketchers, but I changed his mind on them to wear hoka Micheal wear them a month then give use your honest opinion
Do a review next on those Sketcher basketball sneakers that Julius Randle of the Knicks is promoting they look pretty dope and those Hokas are cool but i'll stay with New Balance for comfort🤷🏾♂️
@ASneakerLife just got em this past weekend. 2 workouts in and I'm liking em alot. I usually wear a 97 or 270 in the gym, more recently I been back on roshes too lol. Not too picky for the gym
@@ASneakerLife yupp my coworkers be saying why don't you get a pair. I don't like the style too much. I guess your age is getting to you. 🤣 smile. Dope review man.
And here we goooooo! Now people are getting on the Hoka wave. I ran my first marathon in 2020 during the pandemic and wore the Clifton 8's and my feet and knees were in great shape after 26 miles in the rain and 25 degree weather. Ever since I have not worn a different running shoe. You mentioned the stack; the stack is much higher in the Clifton because its main purpose is for long distance runners. Hoka makes several types for different runners, trail runners and hikers.
You touched on “aesthetic” s my Guy. Been had been eyeing some Hoka Kamanas for a minute, but jus can’t pull da trigger on these orthotic looking Grandads. I think you my have gave me jus enough inspiration 😜 Heard nothing but good things. Did try the ON Cloudnovas and love’em 👍🏽
Happy new year Mike! That Olympic Nike hoodie looking spiffy broda! Like you about to play for the dream team! 🏀 as far as the HOKA’s man thank you for jumping on this and giving a review because I just became a licensed barber and I’m tryna find a not so expensive barber sneaker but comfy because ima be on my feet all day all week. Gonna try a snag a pair of these. If you could help out with sizing if they are true to size or gotta go size up or down please let us know! Thank you! “RUN IT.” ❤🙏😊
If you like the Hokas look into the New Balance 1080 series for walking, running, or general gym shoes. New Balance More v4 are the comfiest max cushion shoes I own and have run 500 miles in them.
Miss this channel Happy New Year!!!!!🥳🥳🥳🥳
"Genuinely don't ever plan to run again in my life"
This made me laugh too much😂

Hell yeah Thanks for sharing!
Try some Arahi's. Cliftons were my first but Arahi beats them in my opinion
Where did you get the 4’s?
@@puddles4rj Nike had them on sale last week or so offering 25% off. I had to order. Think I paid like $157 with tax. Free shipping.

Regular Bondi 8 seems very narrow. I will definitely need to go for 2E wider version. Regular Gaviota is a lot wider in comparison to Bondai 8 D
Any update on the Clifton's?
Started wearing Hokas when I worked at Amazon. Life changing for my trash ass feet. I work in IT now and still wear em. 🤌🏾
Not gonna hold ya, your dog through me into a loop for a min just spinning in circles. I was waiting to see he needed to shit lmao!
😂😂
Need to see an updated sneaker collection bro
been thinking about it!

It’s been getting better and better still a work in progress! Thanks for asking
@@ASneakerLife great to hear. I got ACL reconstruction last May, so I was curious about the status of your knee after longer.

I aint cop nothing yet, im locked in on them breds...
I got some triple black vomeros, i guess that counts.. them for the gym tho.
How you liking them?
