We have a hunt opening morning in winters Tx. We’ve never hunted sand hills before. What type of shooting do you recommend for practice? Just good ole skeet
Just found the channel. Ive been seeing a few flocks of Sandhills fly by my deer stand and was curious what Choke and Shot size yall recommend for the higher flying birds that arent flaring down for the decoy spreads?
We appreciate the comment and the view!! We shoot BB’s with a modified choke. Don’t recommend going any tighter on the choke with steel shot. If you need some extra range try 3.5 inch shells instead of 3 inch shells to get a little more powder behind them.
