Just got my official Tradesman Channel t shirt in the mail and now after a bit of a mishap my foot is in a boot for the time being. Now I feel like a real timberframer.
All the recent videos make me wish I was at least 25 years younger. I want to do much of what you've done, but really have to consider if that is the best use of my time as I see the finish line nearing. Still, it is a joy to see you striving to fulfill your vision.
Great video! I really enjoyed it. The sound quality was particularly great as well as all the close up shots of your work. I'm looking forward to catching up on past videos I've missed.
For once You Tube is sending your channel again an giving me your notification when your videos come up, like always you have great ideas and I injoy watching what you are doing thanks for sharing your life with us all
Next you can develop a controller that works with voice command. You’ll just say hey Tradesman up or down. That way your old injured leg will not get over worked. Be sure and get a patent.
I was going to add a foot operated air valve for my Haberle German cold saw. The pneumatics guy talked me out of it. Why? He said you will eventually accidently step on it and clamp your hand. I put a lever valve on it instead (which requires you to use your hand which keeps it out of harms way....). But your hydraulic press is a bit different. I just wanted to share that in case nobody else did! It's a personal choice so whatever you decide will be the right one!
UA-cam Lumnah Acres just purchased a like new 14'x48' HD Vinyl TARP....CHEAP!!! One side is black and the other side is a BillBoard AD. I guess billboards now are on vinyl tarps....which are easier to put up. His tarp said STATE FAIR dates.... so it was obsolete. Has a pocket for a rod for hanging. Guess a few hours putting in Tarp Strap holes rings would make it a nice $ saving for a trucker.
I live in a rural area, and I can't understand why some people on UA-cam buy $200-3000+ of steel to make a small project? I bought what would have been about $200-500 worth of steel if it were new and I paid about $20 for scrap steel. Yes, it takes time to get the rust off.
As always Jim your use of all the scraps to make something functional is outstanding 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Good job Mr. Man 😊 👍👍👍

Hope you're doing well buddy
You’re having way to much fun fabricating.
Keep it up!

Might want to change your lighting a little bit, Jim.
Great video Jim. Enjoyed your fabrication skills. Are you sure you weren't born at a different time? I thought all the fabricaters were gone ?
