Please do a deep dive into From season 2.😅
Thank you
I thought the reason birdie the mother was in Alaska is because she was kidnapped ( by people we don't know or understand). I thought she's being held hostage there. Also it seems Dr Singh thinks he survived because he had the antler of his. So does this mean he will want to harm Gus because he thinks he's the key to the cure? Or will he just want more antlers to disect?
#BringBackJohnny !!! How could they kill off such an amazing character?! I'm hoping he somehow miraculously survived. 🥺
@Samantha Frost Right! The first 5 episodes could’ve been just one episode. The zoo imprisonment episodes were too dragged out.
Was decent, but season 1 was better imo.
Shout out to Adeel Akhtar for his protrayal of Dr Aditya Singh. Good acting is being able to represent the material well enough so that you as an audience are seemlessly immersed into the story. But a great actor can show the nuanced levels of emotion that make the audience feel an almost intense, visceral reaction to their performance and Adeel was able to do that in spades. You deeply felt what he felt. He genuinely loved his wife and absolutely yearned for freedom and completely understood her viewpoint but at the same time you could see he was at least somewhat brainwashed by the general and completely obsessed about finishing what he had started and worked on almost non-stop for the past decade. You have to factor in that he's a doctor too and he's ethically/duty bound to do what's best for humanity. If there's even the most remote possibility to find a cure then he must find a way. It's a complex range of emotions that you could see was tearing him apart like it would tear anyone apart. It must be incredibly hard to protray all of the overwhelming emotions simultaneously and Adeel did a truly amazing job.
yeah he portrayed adi so well
He was a great villain in this
I was so sad when Johnny died. He was such a good character!!!!
I feel the same way. He became my favorite instantly. Was so pissed. 😩
I feel the same way. He became my favorite instantly. Was so pissed. 😩
@@shaira9984 Right?! I'm just hoping there's a slight chance that he somehow survives... 🥺 He was my absolute favorite character.
@@Lawofsara ahhh I wish 😭😭😭 I think he's gone though
@@bonjolivent7130 gosh I'd like to believe you 😭😭 ahhhjeke I hope your intuition is right but idkkkk
This was a great season! and yes Bobby was the super star of the season 😭💗
I want to hug that little guy and promise you, I will kidnap him. He's too cute man
Bobby is kyoot😘🥰
Ganesha is an animal human hybrid and is a great symbolism for Doctor Aditya's struggle with his faith in what he has to do to find the cure. It harkens back to the myth of Ganesha and how Shiva acted out on his first instinct by cutting his head off, which seems to be the way to find the "antidote" to handling the sick. I would like to see more hints of Ganesha lore and what he stands for in these hybrids and how they can show the way through this struggle the world is going through with the sick, and ultimately find a better alternative to this travesty. Would make a lot of sense with the direction they're going.
I think the doctor was able to survive and hallucinate the plants was because he had Gus’s horn in his pocket.
How the f is his wife still alive?
@@abellara3790 she left, she still had a few weeks to live from her last treatment
I am SO sad about Johnny omg 😭😭😭
Ganesha also is a human/animal hybrid
myself being from a hindu background yes you are totally right
I almost lost myself at the end of the season 2, I really thought Gus is dead, OMG, after seeing he is feeling well, I jumped out of the joy
same here
I'm watching it now 4 tha first ⏲️ love it
I'm GLAD GUS IS GETTING WELL MY SELF GREAT 👍 MOVE 2 ME
Same here!! I was pissed like... that's it? Lol
me too i thought "welp guess it got cancelled" lol
I watched it twice because the first time I was disappointed it was so dark and violent and spent too much time on Dr. Sing and Rami. Gus’s story was the most compelling part of season 1. I agree I hope if there is a season 3 they don’t take as long Christian is growing up
and so is Wendy.
It’s frustrating to wait another 2 years for a season that I finish in one sitting
I just hope they start filming sooner coz the actor is getting older
Same. No excuse for another 2 year filming and editing schedule. I almost skipped the second season in contempt. Luckily, I started season 2 on Thursday and finished Friday evening. It was amazing. Still- I hope season 3 is released in 2024.
Honestly, an older gus with more developed antlers would look really cool!
@@givemeshelter. it was meh the first 2 episodes where just the last episode of session 1 then all bulid up and filler with the last 2 episodes is just set up for season 3 whitch is the same thing they did in session 1 look for his mom.
Yea i was thinking the same thing the actor is getting older.
I just heard they already filmed season 3.
Just love both seasons and your video! Can't wait for season 3 (if I live that long) I'm 70 and you never know, lol.
I’m curious to see how Gus interacts with animals, bc he talked to the tiger in season 1 and then the bison in the finale… I also have a weird feeling adi may. E a form of hybrid from the past, he never got the sick being around his wife as far as the beginning days of her getting sick, and when the meds wore off she was able to get others sick like at the party, but never her husband, plus he also hallucinated in the purple flowers. Idk just something seems up with adi
Actually I think the purple flowers are the cure, they just don’t know it.
@@Jmittle101 Oooh, this is a great theory omg
The hybrids are closer to nature so it makes sense he can do things
@@simpleman3898 How is he a hybrid though...
Sucks Johnny was killed off!! How dare they show the grave after Gust got shot by the crossbow, really thought he was dead....sad to say i was relief when i realized it wasn't him, and then sad again it was the mom. Straight up playing with my emotions 😂 can't wait for season 3!!
Wait a min...if they fooled us that sweet tooth was dead then theres a pissiblity jonny was alive. He couldve easily staged his death with a bullet proof vest and kept his eyes open for the effect and ran off screen.
Yeah same bro I was sad and pissed at the show when I thought Gus died.
@@tensei1710That’s exactly what I want to believe and if Season 3 shows that to be true, I hope Johnny’s return shows him turning to rescue Rani. I could see how sorry they felt for each other throughout the season: Rani for the situation she was in and Johnny for having to follow the wrong crowd.
Just the rhetorical question. How did Abbott survive those buffaloes/bisons? That was an unnecessary scene, to me.
It it was show Gus' powers of being able to control the animals
@@ghostviper8906 🤔 I didn't realize Abbot was close enough to Gus to avoid the stampede. I'll have to watch that scene again.
They’re bison. There are no buffalo in America.
@JBrotsis1 taxonomically, no. However common usage rules apply.
Nooo, what was lame for me is when Abbot got trampled and survived... Likeeee really??? 🙄🙄
How in the world did he “some how managed to survive that?!! 🤦🏾♂️
I'm not saying the show was lame, just that part in particular
where was it shown that he survived?
@@hez859 when he shot sweet tooth, “then he died”
It did kill him, he just had a few seconds left before the crushed organs got him, his skull wasn't stepped on so he still got a shot
He was pretty close to Gus when they stampeded, I think
Why are you guys so dumb? He didn't survive, he obviously just used his final moments to try and kill Gus before dying. It's also crazy how many people actually agree with this statement
Anyone else very interested on the ending of season two when Mrs Zhang was feeding the animal. I think that the animal she was feeding is one of the first hybrid that nobody knew about.
yeah, at fort smith we were shown those weird 70/30 hybrids, like the croc peter and how could i forget bobby. i think there are different percentage hybrids and mrs zhang is keeping some (she said here you go boys, plural) also her saying youll need it is implying she might be the main villain of season 3? i mean abbots dead, last men are on a heavy downfall, so yeah.
tje comics show it its getting to the good part fr
@@charlesontopofficialor it could be as the hybrids age, they become more animal than human. Tver could explain Peter being predominantly animal but still having traces of human.
I came to this video for that scene surely it's discussed
Thanks you for this amazing video
Hopefully they’re already filming Season Three, just love this story.
Same.
They already finished the filming for Season 3, at least in New Zealand for whatever that means lol. Im sure there are some misc scenes missing that they will need to film
I think the doctor was able to hallucinate because he has Gus's antler in his pocket. When he exits the room, he walks out, pulls out the antler and realized how special Gus really is.
Bobby steals the show.❤
I'd imagine that the hooved creture is the last member of the ancient tribe and his design is based on a wendigo
So a long living human of this tribe who will help them possibly with a cure. Why do I have the feeling he doesn't have one? I literally always felt that from season one, the blessing in disguise of the Pandemic was the hybrids for natures way to heal from human destruction and own suffering and their inevitable evolution. The last men (including our good guys) WILL eventually die and the hybrids kid will be the new species living symbiotically in perfect harmony with nature. It's amazing if you think about it. This series is so symbolic and deep.
I like the way Gus can talk to animals. He talked to a deer in the first episode. Gus also talked to a tiger. In the last episode he talked to a herd of bisons and used them to fight the Last Men. When I say talk to animals I don't mean hybrids I mean natural wild four legged animals.
RIP Peter...
Bobby am back! Is my favorite line ever!!
Is Johnny really dead? I don't man. I never trust a scene where a character got shot and didn't show the bullet holes. And definitely not when the camera zoomed in on their face while they're "dead". Still, just a speculation.
Don't mind me, I'm coping
I thought the same thing lol, I was wondering if anyone else had a similar theory. I’m curious if he will come back in some way for S3 because he didn’t actually die..
Great explanation 👍
Remember tho in season one the deer that follows him, I don’t think it’s a hybrid but what happen to a very lucky(or unlucky) crew member that went up to Alaska and maybe they turned completely to an animal form
Loved it! Hope it won't take two years for the Season 3
It won’t the show was secretly renewed for a third season and filmed back to back with season 2, so it’s probably coming next year.
@@colinmcallister3038 great to hear that!
What I would like to know is why in episode 6 they forget bobby when he is one of the children. I'm disgusted
I think it's because so much was going on tbh. Wendy really loves Bobby clearly 😭
me too they almost left him with the bus that suckss i thought they cared about each other so much like when they didn't know what happened to roy
Never watched but the main actor has the most angelical face ever **cutie**
I think the unseen creatures in the cage are lion hybrids or some other type of predatory animal hybrid. If you think about it none of the hybrids we have seen so far are half predators. I mean there was one kid who was half alligator but that is about it. None the hybrids we have seen so far are half wolf, half lion, half tiger and half bear. I think there is a chance that hybrids that are half predator are extremely vicious and dangerous and are more animal as we haven't seen any predatory animal hybrids. So they are revealing it in the season finale.
Bro you’re right all the hybrid kids at the end of season one 😮 wtf happened to them ? Not one of them is the kids in the new season and there’s like twenty of them.
fr !! i was so confused because jepp's lamb son wasn't there. season 1 ended with the kids getting captured, and then season 2 started with all different kids?? like what !!?
@hobi's lvr Well, there is an episode where Jep is brought his son's skeleton (maybe his wife's, I'm not sure). It's a minor plot hole, but they could have attempted escape, ended up killed, etc.
@@ztellarvibrationz8753why's it a plot hole
It's a simple answer, they just went with different actors and designs.
very touching series. loved it so much. can't wait for season three
Kind of found it unfortunate that we never got the more darker elements from the original comic book when it came to the hybrids escape from Abbot, but I guess adaptations sometimes have to change stuff.
Yeah, Jeff Lemire acknowledged how the show has a lighter tone than the comics because he said there has already been an over saturation of dark dystopian fiction since the original comic’s release.
@@colinmcallister3038 Lame. But, he’s not wrong. That makes sense.
I congratulate the director for making the creative decision to turn this into a light, good vibe show instead of keeping the dark twisted version from the book.
When i saw the deer in gus dream i thought it was a wendigo
(****SPOILER for the comic and show***)
I think that Zhang, being a new character created for the show, will likely be made out as a composite of two comic characters. She will likely be a combo of the leader of animal army from the comics and General Abbot from the comics, seeing as Abbot died in the season 2 finale.
The animals in cages at Zhang's home are probably the dog hybrids from the comic's animal army. Also, they are probably her children, assumed from her reference to a large family.
Season 3 will likely be the final season unless the show gets padded out with a bunch of needless filler.
Honestly, after that shit storm and roller coaster of a ride. I NEED fillers. I don’t think it’d be necessarily needless because mans, whenever Big Man and Gus gets a break I’m always on the edge because I can’t trust this show much to have a peaceful moment.
Sure there was the playground and stuff, but I need fillers
It has to be the finale season cause Christian Convery can't play a 11 - 12 year old character then his voice breaks. Even in season 2 he didn''t look like a 10 year old boy anymore.
Season three is going to be pretty cool. It seems like it will be a traveling race.
Unfortunately, i believe they said there will only be three seasons. Man, i could watch at least 4 more seasons.
Season one and two were both really good.
I agree but season two felt like it was just setting up season three. These seasons are so short. I want more time with our characters
@OAwesomeO I really enjoyed it, but yeah, it did have flaws. I know what you mean though. Most series will begin with a plot and then slowly work into the next season story. Or even save it for the last episode. This season seemed like the whole season was a final episode building up for the next.
It's a good show though. I've really enjoyed it.
I couldnt get enough.
I was so scared at the end if Gus died.
Help me out guys, GUS came from an egg? Then why he is a deer? Maybe season3 will explain
Much of this show doesn’t make any sense
Who took care of the chickens for 9 years.
The eggs were just this first stages of genetic manipulation
She made herself pregnant
I didn't understand that either, but this analysis said the fire that the mother has in gus dream was made of antlers and there could be a scary hybrid in Alaska which explains gus origin. However how one hybrid spread to all of humanity only being able to give birth to hybrids is not explained.
Same reason the humans give birth to reptiles and birds live instead of in eggs, it doesn't matter how it normally happens.
Looked up the comic and compared things of both seasons
I am nervous about if they make a season 3 in adaptation it would be like the Never Ending Story 3rd movie ...not sure if they should
The doctor has a long road to Alaska and redemption, he’ll prob help create the cure
How the f is his wife still alive?
@@abellara3790 she had the medicine that made her able to nice and live for some time but after she left her husband (after seeing that he lost himself to only finding the cure) she’ll most likely live out the last few days of her life out in the wild
I loved season 2. My only gripe is the prison escape dragged on for a bit too long. I don't know what else they could have done, but it felt too long.
thank you for show we love when season 3 ??
Sweet Tooth T shirts ASAP
👏speak👏out👏 the👏word👏😤
any chance you're gonna do From season 2?
Don't forget guess talk to a real live Tiger. When the animal army tried to use it to kill Jepp
Theory:I think those were dog hybrids in the cage at the ending
Buffalo and Bison are the same thing everywhere except Australia. In Australia, a "bison" is what you use to wash your face in the morning.
i think it would be cool to see some cold weather/artic hybrids while their in alaska. polar bear hybrids, otter hybrids, etc
Why aren't you doing From reviews?
Bobby literally saved the day in that scene
I believe that Adi hallucination was because he had Sweet tooth antler in his pocket.
How is wife still alive wtf???!
The harm that came to Roy and Peter was too upsetting, and I stopped after episode 5.
I think they were more upsetting themselves lmao. Nightmare fuel
They took out the two reptiles just because they didn’t have human faces and they thought it would be less difficult for people to watch. So very anti-reptile though.
The mother of the hybrids died, the leader of the bad guys died, they're going to Alaska to find Gus' mom, tiger died, the animal army died
Wasn't Gus's ability to talk to animals subtly hinted at in Season 1 too? Because when he talked to the Tiger in the cage to not kill Big Man, it listened.
danny malt does a good breakdown of the comic
Also I think if they had his stay in bed to heal and then set off together would have been better to end the season, could be some time to heal from a gunshot but also for real world problem of him growing up, then season 3 we would cut to him being around 14-16 as it would take them a while to even get up to Canada
I think the growling we hear are the same growling we hear in episode one in season one we’re Gus heard it
This just make me want to see the next season more but it will be like two years. Also buffalo and bison arent they the same thing?
Great video. Just to be clear, those are bison which are native to America. Buffalo's are not natives to America and are typically found in Africa and are called Water Buffalo, so you have a better idea as they look nothing alike
We also call them buffalo here. American buffalo. It’s confusing slang but we use both words to describe the same animal lol
@@Userhandleidk very true, some Americans do have a habit of not caring about what a thing actually is and just going "Merica it is what I say it is" like how so many purposely pronounce foreign names wrong. Let you call someone Ford F150 a Citroën and they will turn into the biggest snowflake though lol Historically, you are also right people just didn't know any better and called them Buffalo and that slang term did stick. The only way the animal will get some respect on its name is if we inform people so they know.
@@katanaridingremy simply she did not know and she tried… 😅😅😅 I did not know either but I appreciate your comment ✨
It’s also called buffalo in America too. Two things can be true
@@ms.bubs4fun506 apparently it’s a misnomer, and we just colloquially call them the wrong thing lol
Also the hallucination for the doctor gus is missing his antlers
Totally, he can communicate with animals like Peter and the mama deer
Peter was a hybrid
I think it was hybrids that the warlord lady was feeding at the end bc as she was feeding them we got the creature’s POV. I could be wrong but I’ve noticed in film those pov shots are saved for conscious beings.
Me too first thing that came to my mind
I have a Theory: what, if at the end of the season those were dinosaur hybrids in the cage? 😳😳
It’s impossible to figure out the female actor that was General Abbott assistant! I’ve searched everywhere and her name is listed nowhere!
They even just call her "Last Man" in subtitles, like we get Hulks name but she doesn't even get a nickname like lieutenant
Johnny is alive and finally free, I do not accept any other possibility. Sorry.
I watched the whole thing (not including season 1) and then this
Funny enough the statue of Ganesh a symbol of his home. is also ganesha's the god of success. And home and family something that the doctor has lost but success he might claim.
Because the thing about the God Ganesh is that success is a very. Tough road you have to sacrifice and give up a few things in order to reach success. The doctor has given up a lot he's given up his original home he's done things that. He had to do in order to find a cure he is sacrificing a lot onto the road of success. And that's one of the things that get national likes. inhumans what are you willing to give up in order to succeed.
Ganesh will help you but to a certain extent the rest is up to you to succeed.
This show is has been better than any 'Live Action' comic book show has any right to be. Nonso and Christian (Big Man and Gus) have insane chemistry. And the symbiosis between Christian and the peeps operating his ears!!! I can't wait for SE3.
Who else wants the deer skull creature to be the nowhere king for whatever stupid reason
Also, preeeeetty sure jhonny had autism. Buuuut I’m not entirely sure, i kind of hope so, it brings me some comfort.
Any more similar shows recommendations? 🥺
How come theres practically no content on this series? Literally no one is talking about it or uploading clips or anything... is no one watching it?
im not sure how i feel about season 2, it really seems all over the place, also i cant tell if im watching a show trying to be very pg and kid frriendly or somthing for the mature audiance
officially done watching the season and overall wasnt a big fan of season 2
There's blood and children getting killed, and it's rated tv 14, definitely not for children
@@autograph415why not?
@@bigheadrat9493 for the reasons I said? There were scenes where it felt like it catered towards kids then others where it felt like it catered towards adults, I felt they focused too much in 1 location and wished they showed them explore more like season 1, season 3 looks good
@@autograph415 yeah I guess that's kinda true
I think the lady with the black hair is evil next season and goes to the cabin and sees that they went to alaska
Well she’s a Texan so she’s obviously evil. You can tell the kind of people who wrote this show…..
Maybe Johnny isn't dead yet, but pretend to be. Even if we saw him not blink as well as move his eyes. As for the dream it just may have just been sticks that looked to be antlers. Also I had a feeling Dr. Singh will break his promises to Gus and use Peter to keep on finding the cure. I do have a feeling Gus is the key to the cure but it won't cost him his life. Like a drop of his blood could be it.
Gus summoned the big deer in season 1 as well. Not a random event (the bison)
Don’t forget he was able to calm the tiger down in season 1.
Bobby is obviously the best hybrid 😅😅😅😅😅😅🦫
Also bison and buffalo are the same thing
I found it a little ridiculous at the end how easy and quickly people were traveling to Yellowstone from the Essex Zoo. Go look up how far that distance is. Otherwise, it was a good/fine season.
I dont think the buffalo stampede is like an outside source, gus stopped a lion from killing jepp in the animal army
8:00 Just a heads up no that its important. They are definitely Bison. North America does not have any true Buffalo. True Buffalo are native to Asia and Africa. They include species like the Water Buffalo. That said, Bison are sometimes referred to as Buffalo or American Buffalo so the confusion is very understandable
Bobby is my hero
That was the 3rd time Gus spoke to/controlled animals. Definitely not deus ex machina.

Potential spoiler alert !!
What if those creatures being fed the meat ant the finale of season 2 are actually the 4 [or 5 I can’t exactly remember] hybrid dogs from the comic book ? The ones that originally from the comic were the children of the leader of the Animal Army and were used to kill things ? Since the show has had a lot of changes from the comic, it could potentially be bringing in part of the comic but different in order to fit the story of the show ??
I actually thought the same thing. And that makes so much sense since most parts are also taken from the comic but modified. I think the dog hybrids are one of the major part in the comic so they're probably saving it for season 3. I also think that they might modify these hybrids not only as dogs but other predators like wolves, cause the hybrid kids in the preserve are herbivores/non-predators
Am I suppose to if heard of this b4?
🦷 😮
STOP DEFENDING ADITYA DUDE HE LITERALLY CHOPPED UP CHILDREN
But he did it bcuz he didn’t want his wife to die. Love can make you do the unthinkable.
The script and acting - appalling. ep08 the army in the forest were so stupid it was unbelievable.
I love this show but I have to agree that they seemed completely inept as a part of the 2% survivors out of the entire population.. I mean these guys were as close to the General as it gets, meaning they were his best recruits, and they were completely incompetent to the point it was comical. Even the General himself, he miserably misses 4 near-point-blank shots on a target (Gus) moving in a straight line.. this is the same dude that took out a plane with an RPG which are infamous for being terribly inaccurate.
But, at the end of the day, it’s a show with half animal kids and it’s supposed to be hopeful and child like. So to be super critical of it kind of ruins the point. I understand why some people can’t get past it though, it’s not for everyone lol
How is it bad? I don't get it
Why didn’t adi wife the Hindu didn’t die yet? Wtf how she still alive
The ending battle scene ep 8 was pretty cheesy. The only creature i like on this show is Bobby. The show is meh. So so.
