I didn't like Pickett at Pitt. I disliked the Steelers drafting him in the first round and I hated when he got thrown on the field in a bad offensive system with an OC that was clearly on the verge of leaving. What’s Undisputed- Kenny Was Afraid of competing in Pittsburgh. He felt that he was an elite QB that was wronged, where in reality he put up terrible numbers and left the job in a spiteful manner because he wanted the starting job served up on a platter. Now was he developed perfectly? No. Was Hurts developed perfectly? How about Herbert? At some point players gotta produce and he didn’t. Hurts is your starter for as long as Pickett is there, and maybe he sees the field as a serviceable backup. His "clutch gene" is an illusion. Without our defense keeping it tight so that Kenny could finally figure it out against the opposing team's tired defense, there would be no "solid closing drive." I didn't like Pickett at Pitt. I disliked the Steelers drafting him in the first round and I hated when he got thrown on the field in a bad offensive system with an OC that was clearly on the verge of leaving. So, I believe Pickett did the best thing for himself. He's taking one step back to make two steps forward. I hope he proves himself at some point, I wish him the best. Go Steelers!

What’s Undisputed- Kenny Was Afraid of competing in Pittsburgh. He felt that he was an elite QB that was wronged, where in reality he put up terrible numbers and left the job in a spiteful manner because he wanted the starting job served up on a platter.
Now was he developed perfectly? No. Was Hurts developed perfectly? How about Herbert? At some point players gotta produce and he didn’t.
Hurts is your starter for as long as Pickett is there, and maybe he sees the field as a serviceable backup. I hope he does well but I do not understand the short run gameplan for Pickett (aside from being spiteful to the Steelers).
He wasn't afraid to compete. It was revealed that there wouldn't be an open competition for QB1 and that Russell Wilson would be QB1.
There was never a chance to even compete. Russell Wilson was garaunteed the QB1 position even tho the coaches promised Kenny that he would be able to compete for the QB1 spot before Russ even got signed.

I know everyone is making fun of Kenny and all, but one thing I’ll never forget about him as our QB was his clutch gene. Despite being last or close to it in most QB stats, he seemingly would get it together when it matters most. If jalen hurts ever gets injured, I’d be pretty confident in Kenny to give you guys a solid closing drive. Sucks it didn’t workout w the Steelers but I really do wish him the best
His "clutch gene" is an illusion. Without our defense keeping it tight so that Kenny could finally figure it out against the opposing team's tired defense, there would be no "solid closing drive." This is demonstrated by the fact that he pretty much never wins a game when the opposing team scores more than 20 points.
THE ONLY REASON HE WAS IN CLUTCH SITUATIONS IS BC THE DEFENSE KEPT THE OTHER TEAM FROM SCORING BC KENNY COULD BARLEY MOVE THE BALL
