You ended up on my recommended and I really appreciate this video. I'm Non-Binary and hoping to start low dose t this year and seeing videos like this is just awesome.
I'm going through transition stuff myself soon, and my mum is scared and I'm very grateful you made these videos, because our gender expression and identity is similar and we have similar facial features too, so I sent the series to her to get a better understanding of what changes she'll see and over what timeframe. Bless!!!
you deserve more subs! this is really helpful information, i seriously appreciate how organized you were in talking about all the changes that happened and around when they occurred. best of luck in your transition :)
I’m agender too and starting T soon. I also place myself on the transmasculine side of the spectrum. I’m just not sure how to decided the dose. I really don’t want to look super masculine. I just want to achieve a more androgynous physical appearance. I’m assumed female 99.9% of the time I’m out in public.
Hads howdy! Here’s my personal take: Firstly, your doctor will have the best idea of the dosage you should be on. The same dosage does different things to everyone. So a “full dose” to me might be different than yours. But anyway- you can choose a half dose if you’d like. This won’t give you half the results, it will just make everything go way slower. Regardless, a testosterone-dominant body will just progress as such. We unfortunately can’t pick and choose the changes. You can choose to physically express your identity in various ways, such as with clothing, and remain on T as long as you’d like. You can choose to only stay on until you’ve gotten some nice changes then go off. Generally thinks like your voice, some hair, and bottom growth will stay the same (ie they won’t “revert back” once you go off T). I’d definitely look into others’ journeys where they decided to be on T only for a limited time. I’m NB and very comfortable with my current presentation, but I am 100% of the time seen as male.
