I've never been a hip hop guy, I'm an Aboriginal that looks like a white dude, and I live out in the sticks, so this kind of music isnt really the common choice out here. That being said, I've fallen in love with all the tracks from The Contract. There's a realism in Dre's voice, and the way he works with these other artists is phenomenal. I may not have had the thug life as some of these boys did, but I relate more to the words they say, than with any other songs I listen too. I believe it's because like everyone, Dre dealt with demons that weren't physical enemies, and that's a battle alot of people don't win.
