@bart1476 He would have to pay his dues with sustained play over a period of a couple years to just catch up.

QUESTION. somewhat related to mental health. I wonder if James could talk on a future podcast about techniques to stop yourself when you're on a bad roll and you've given up a series of points. In rec play we don't have timeouts really ...although I guess you could call ask for a break. But how do you get your head together quickly and back in the right direction when things seem to be falling apart?

James you should play singles each tournament. You are great at it and 10 player. You would medal a lot, but Ben Johns is still number 1. No excuses anymore, just play singles it is good for the game, you are in great shape.

Nothing wrong with the ping pong grip. Just wait till higher level ping pong player transition over.

There are high level ping pong players in Pickleball but they use the correct grip for a different sport.

@@JimAssalone I don't see any table tennis players cracking the top 10 in the world playing pickleball.

What are James impressive tennis achievements? What was his highest professional ranking? Never heard of him before in pro tennis.

Like he said. He peaked at 16yo where he was 5 in the nation then lost interest and the discipline to make the next jump.
