Also when you study Mori's character in dept, he's not even a pedophile. 2) Kunikida was a college drop out, yet still became a math teacher 3) unlike what people usually believe, Fyodor doesn't have a god complx, instead he has a Saviour complex. Believing himself to be a servant sent by god to eradicate the sin that is ability users. 4) Chuuya was the main reason 15 Dazai wanted to live. Asagiri confirmed that Dazai and Chuuya were originally meant to be cannon, but he didn't go ahead with it to respect the real life authors. Instead making them heavily implied. 5) Chuuya and Verlaine have the same ability, Chuuya can activate corruption while Verlaine has brutalisation. Verlaine is tye fifth executive of the port mafia 6) Fyodor was the one who manipulated Shibusawa into going after Atsushi, telling him that Atsushi had the most highly coveted ability 7) Akutagawa has pleurisy. Apparently obtained by the freezing cold weather on tye streets and being left untreated for really long 8) Verlaine tried to kill everyone Chuuya loved, in order to get him to leave the mafia, including Dazai. But Dazai wasn't letting Chuuya to doubt his humanity on his watch, putting tye entire Yokohama at risk just ao Chuuya can figure out if he's human or not. 9) Asagiri said that he did not consider the people who don't understand the dept of his characters as his readers. Even though BSD looks like a goofy show at first, every character is painstakingly written according to the irl authors books. 10) Nikolai is one of the most complex characters in BSD. Dazai also being really complex despite only a small fraction of his backstory revealed. BSD has no villains. Every character is doing what they think is right in their perspective

In the manga I read Dazai talks to Fukuzawa while making a pact with the PM (during the guild arc) and says that he had books of war beaten into him by “a certain somebody” and it instantly pans over to Mori.

I don't normally like to comment on videos, like- EVER. But I really have to comment that this just has to be one of the best reaction videos i've watched related to Dazai content. Like, i'm not even exaggerating, this is unbelievably good. The designs are cute, true to canon but hold their own personality for each character, the work put into each character is just- UGHHHH FANTASTIC!? The reactions? They think, talk, interact... its just so active but not over the board and you can easily catch up without having the pause the video. It may not be the most canon to the BSD storyline, but this just means its really thought of and creatively made for this reaction video. And can I just add how Adorbs Dazai is here? He looks so squishable and chewy- I just want to take a NOM outta my man. Each character is just so diverse from eachother, and it really shows! (Which is not the easiest thing to put in a gacha vid, well... atleast not oftenly all the time when people add their own perks here and there). The story building to the angsty parts, MWAh chefs kiss, i'm so impacted into the story that when I saw that it was still a W.I.P. I was about to cry and transfer to the afterlife, maybe even turn into a time traveller to skip into the future... but besides that- Its just so beautifully made and intricate, very distinctive to other reaction videos while still containing the same plot and characters.
