Rule number one. Stay alive. - Its pretty simple. They cant win if youre alive. End of story.. kinda Once that part is sorted, then you start to think about dmg. Spotting dmg or direct dmg will both be worth it. As long as you stay alive that is.. The longer youre in the game, the more chances youl get for making a mark on the game. The longer you stay alive, the more chances youl get for dropping a shot or 2 on the enemy. - Was it Patton? that siad; no man have ever won a war by dying for his country. ?? some general from that area. But its true. Dont throw away your HPs. Know your role.. - You probs wants to lean towards high spotting dmg if youre a light tank, and you probs wants to swap that spotting dmg for actual dmg if youre playing tittys. You can oftentime leave a hige footprint on the game if youre alive or the last ½. At least its much easier to make a decisive diff as the game goes on. eg a light tank thats alive all the way through WILL be better than one thats only in the game for the first few min, despite the latter spotting the entire enemy team as they move in positions. Know when to be agressive, when you can sell your HPs for progress of the team. - He who dies with the most toys, still just die. No reason to go to the garage with full HP. Load gold. sad but true.. Gold is statisticly a 25 % increase in killratio. Thats just the name of the game. Accept it or play a different game. Its p2W. Theres not 2 ways around it
When Asked what Lines to grind, I always Suggest IS7 First as it's Line covers most Every Sort of Game Play you'll Encounter and the Tanks are fairly Well Rounded and Forgiving... 2nd Line I Recommend is the Obj277 because it's the Same Line as the IS7 but more a heavy Medium than a True Heavy... It has Comparable Mobility to the IS7, it has more Medium Armor, you're already ON that Line so it's Cost Effective from a Credit and XP Standpoint, and what you Learned Grinding the IS7 Line generally Carries Over along with New Tactics for the Lighter Armor... The 3rd Line I Generally Recommend is the 705A, again because you're Already there and it's more of the Super Heavy kind of Play Style... It's still Familiar Territory from the IS7 Line, the Cost Saving are again Very Good since all 3 Lines have alot of Crossover Modules, and Now you have Heavier Armor and the Slower Mobility that is Present in Most Other Super Heavy Tank Lines... I also generally recommend the Italian Line as a Must Have, but for Later... I Think that the Italian Line is Largely the Most Balanced of the Lines, they aren't Great at any one Thing, and the Autoloaders make them Harder to Play Overall, but None of them are OVERLY Bad, but there are some Less User Friendly Tanks in the Mid and Upper Tiers... They just FEEL more Consistent thru the Tree and the Grinds aren't Too Horrible compared to Some.... Could just be Me...
I played a game recently where a panther 2 was trying to get our lt reported for afk. The Panther 2 did about 700 damage, the lt did 1500 damage and 3800 spotting…. The Panther was a 46% player. I only mention WR because it links to players lack of understanding on how tanks play. I play on ASIA and the biggest issue I see is seeing how people just don’t understand how their tank plays. They think the leopard and the obj 140 should play the same because they are mediums…
I came over to pc from blitz a few months ago and it wasnt that hard for me to get used to the game because both games play somewhat similarly and i watched tons of content to learn how to play certain maps with certain tanks. It definitely is a good idea to play low tiers until you start getting good at the game though
The way people counter-argue against people saying WoT being P2W never seems to get what people are actually saying. F2Ps have a way worse economy that people who always have premium time, not to mention they bypass a lot of grinding through stock tanks which hurts your numbers no matter how good you are at the game. With premium and boosters you rarely have to switch from grinding/playing the tanks you want and switching to Tier 8 premiums to farm credits (I only really do it for bounty equipment/T9+ tank purchases). Like you said though, even with good gold ammo you do at least have to have some level of aim (for most tanks) and game knowledge like positioning, team play, all the stuff that you point out will help make you a better player
The talk of learning to play with Tier X tanks is a mistake! Must learn in low tiers. The big problem with WoT is skill imbalance. They’ve held to ignoring this issue. Most games fall into 2 categories. Games you’re going to win regardless and games you’re going to lose regardless. Few games allow you to make a game changing play. For those who’ve played to Tier X and don’t play well, this video might help.
Welcome Back !! was beginning to think something Bad happened to ya.. Like making a wrong turn and getting caught in the middle of 1 of those Woke Protests going on over there :( BUT now I see (by that haircut) You joined the British Royal Air Force LOL Probably not to bad of a idea, The world seems to be spinning a little out of control of late .... Thanks Video !! hoping we can see ya at least couple times a week ? Catch ya on the Next one :)
Disagree. I see so many new players in tier 8~10 tanks without any clue just because of these kind of videos. New players should play tier 4~7 untill they are comfortable with the game. (I would say they should play around 2000 ~ 5000 battles min before getting up to tier 8~10)
On the other hand, who are you to gatekeep higher tiers? Who cares if less experienced players are playing higher tiers, just like who cares if less capable players are playing higher tiers. "But mu team, mu score, mu wn8, they're dragging me down" - playing random battles is all about that and odds are you encounter them on the enemy team as much as they're on yours so it averages out. I used to be an angry player who blamed my team a lot, but partly growing up, partly taking on advice of channels like this and the other CCs through the ages, and generally chilling out a bit I see it's just not the way anymore. You do you, play the best you can, play for what YOU want to play for, be that score, WR, wn8, fun, whatever, and others will do the same. For what it's worth I'm statistically an above average player so I'm not 'sticking up for the little guy' because I'm a tomato.
@@justjosh11 LOL I am not like you and do not think like you. Personally I do not care they are there or not, atually they are a pretty good easy target. It's sad to see them die in the first 30 sec or sit in the corner for the whole game with zero damage done. They can't possibly have fun just being a Target every fricking Battle just because of videos like this. They probably won't play very long if they are just easy targets every battle. Just not very good for the game.
Hi! Really good tips! Are you interested in an Obsidian gameplay? I think 6.2k dmg 8 kills 2.1k base exp. I would love if you would feature it in your vid❤
Great video.
...although, I have to say that blaming the team can have a very therapeutical and soothing effect.

play Escape from Tarkov then you know whats difficult and learning curve... WOT is kindergarden
I only fire gold when I play heavies
You really need to play the tanks you are recommending and show the play in your videos, otherwise its just opinion/theorycrafting.
