- Guess who made a sneaky cameo in the Kung Fu Panda 4 trailer? None other than the feathered fiend himself, Lord Shen! Yeah, the baddie from the second Kung Fu Panda flick made a sneaky appearance, and we've got our eagle eyes on it. Right after the chameleon does its magic bringing Tai Lung back from the spirit world, there's this blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment. Look closely, and the shadow forming around the sorceress doesn't match Tai Lung's shape. Nah, it's more in line with that bird-like bod Lord Shen rocked. Seriously, check out that shadow dance; it's got Lord Shen vibes written all over it. And get this - the chameleon's got Po's sacred staff in its clutches. Now, that might mean it's not just pulling folks from the spirit world but also plucking them out from the afterlife. Considering Shen's fate last time around, it's a solid theory. And if the chameleon's teaming up with Shen? Man, Po's got his work cut out for him. I'm hyped to see how this all plays out.

Lord Shen is my favorite Kung Fu Panda villain because his moves are cool, he has an amazing outfit, his feathers are badass and he’s so mysterious.
That and at the time we didn’t know just how evil he truly was until rewatching it years later

But think of this. There is only two shadows. One of then is the Chameleon's since it's the back. But look at the front. Shadows can't be on the front and back at the same time. So it is Shen
You can tell it’s tai lung cause the light is shining almost all over the chameleon and tai lungs head is at the very bottom

So, is the spirit realm considered the afterlife? I’m pretty sure Shen and Kai were the only two villains that actually met their demise. Thai Lung was the only one who survived but was banished to the spirit realm. Maybe it’s just Thai Lung who’s coming back

If they are teaming up, then I feel like Shen might switch sides. For all the fear and hatred he has from his existence, I think he understood Po was trying to help him see a better path. Not that he'll redeem himself or become a true ally, but that he'll accept how things ended and want nothing more than to move on
tbh i wish that all of the villains from all the original kfp movies help po and probably the furious five and other allies and team up against chameleon (lord shen may have a low chance to ally but atleast we have tai lung which I think his redemption is gonna be redeemed)

Whether he goes back like that/disappears, or sticks around and lends a hand is up in the end, I don't think they'll really care enough to further develop his character since he already served his purpose

While tai lung instead becomes her first victim of having his kungfu stolen, and then after that he goes to the dragon warrior. On his feet gasping for air. (This is just my personal guess on how the story is gonna be like, but I'm hoping it's somewhat like this)
