This venue needs to properly maintain itself, could already see missing tiles in the roof before any even fell after the confetti. JP is already one of my least fav songs by BO and I can understand wanting to make an acoustic version of a viral song to change it up. But listen, I’m just not sold on the acoustic version. It’s worse than the original, even, as it seems he can’t settle on a tone that accompanies acoustic, well. I enjoy his screaming much more, though his other tones are also pleasant. He’s done an acoustic sleep token cover before (levitate) and I felt strongly the same way. Acoustic accompaniment needs more work. The first verse of this is especially painfully unsettled to me.
Locals have reported this same venue in recent months has had two stage collapse incidents. Lots of fog, flashing lights in a dark space, confetti in air at the moment and seems he’s sometimes closing his eyes as performers often do. In no way comparable to Travis Scott levels, be real.
Also have to add direct reports from people who were by the injured and the venue itself, all of which sought help immediately when they noticed real injuries. It’s not visible in a limited pov capture. The ceiling tiles falling are barely visible unless you know the moment it happened/what to look for based on reports. If you were just watching this without context, you’d miss it.
