@muzykawraju Thanks for posting. This a most charming performance I will surely listen with some regularity. I'm not a musician at all, but I feel Couperin has a special gift to make his music introspective, intimate and solemn at the same time. There are other recordings of this suite in UA-cam and I wonder why they are considerably longer. Is it a matter of speed (cedence) or just edition?
@@manonpapasergio6846 Thanks to you! One hardly ever gets an answer from artists and you DEFINITELY do deserve being called an artist. Best wishes for your career, Manon!
It is a pleasure to listen to you. I am nearly obsessed with this piece and really love the intimacy of the tiorba making the continuo part. I wonder if you are improvising it! As a cellist myself I've been trying to make some reduction for cello and guitar (im constantly wondering how it would work). In the case you have a developed basso you are playing with, did you compose yourself? I wouldn't mind to buy it! Congratulations!
A beautiful piece of Couperin and an awesome performance, thanks for sharing!
Une des plus belles sonates pour viole de gambe de l’école française merveilleusement interprétée par ces deux artistes. Vraiment bravo.
This is great, I enjoyed listening immensely. Thank you!
Really excellent playing. As beautiful as one can hope to hear.
Tão lindo que a alma vibra! 💖

Thank you for your kind comment ! The suite is not entire here, we didn’t play the last movement (Passacaille). This is why :)

Thank you for your kind comment ! Gabriel is improvising the realisation of the basso continuo, according to the figures on the score. :)
