DEV LOG Update #2 - GODZILLA: KAIJU CLASH

This is a work-in-progress update on the Godzilla fan-game I'm making in Unreal Engine 5!
DEV LOG UPDATE:
MAIN MENU REVISION:
Revamped the entire menu
Based on the Godzilla STE menu screen
Has Godzilla’s big ol’ eye 👁️
UI Animations
Much more polished
CHARACTER SELECTION:
Made some minor adjustments
Added helicopters, smoke, and background buildings as 2D planes
Reduced the amount of fire
(it still looks the same lol)
Tried adding rain but caused lots of lag and was barely visible due to the ginormous size of the kaiju
(water is a game developer’s worst nightmare to deal with)
Added kaiju grunts
Added intro anim for Jet Jaguar
Added Godzilla ambiance when selected
Better UI Animations
Added Camera Animations
Also added the ability to go back the screens using the ESC key
Alright, that’s so far what we’ve got! The next thing is to start the map selection screen.

The game is inspired by a bunch of other fighting games like the old Godzilla Pipeworks games, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Gigabash, Power Rangers legacy wars, and you can’t forget the Roblox Godzilla games!
