In fact, one of the very best.
among marlon brando and robert de niro, ect.

Yes indeed! Thanks for saying so. He's awesome even as a person.
In fact, I would actually say he is one of the very best. Haha wtf

Glengarry Glen Ross
Carlito's Way
Dont forget carlitos way mannnn
Good call, but I'd replace Scarface with And Justice for All or Carlito's Way.
Also, I loved Glengary Glenn Ross, but it was more of an ensamble film. Pacino was awesome in it, but so were Jack Lemmon, Ed Harris, Alan Arkin, Alec Baldwin, etc.
I still fail to understand why Al Pacino did not get Oscars for Godfather 2
because Don Michael was an antihero. There was no possibility to praise a character like that those times.
@@__MarchHare__ It makes me so sad that he's won only one oscar.

Exactly. Lol. His expression was like "omg. This is so stupid".

His eyes are dreamy af
Those Italian bedroom eyes...........A face that could launch a thousand ships, forget Helen of Troy. Pacino has been passed over so many times, makes you wonder if the Oscar committee voters can see past their goblin noses.
He sometimes looks like Paul McCartney, when he was young. Irish eyes ......
He made you believe he was blind..... THAT is good acting!
I know. I was thinking how could he hold those eyes up without blinking? It's amazing!
Whoa!!!!! I actually didn't notice that. Wow!!!!!

I am very happy that Al Pacino finally got his long deserved Oscar. It was a tough decision that year; every single one of the other 4 candidates would have deserved an Oscar for their performance as well. But it was definitely Pacino's turn at last
What a MONSTER talent this man is....One of the VERY BEST in film history..

I feel like that one Oscar is not for just Scent of a Woman. It’s for all the masterpiece films he has done.
100% fact, because Scent of a Woman… Really? HOHA!
Malcom X and Chaplin…Eastwood and Stephen Rea. Unforgiven/Eastwood had a good evening. Sorry Steven Ray, but everyone knew he wasn’t winning. Denzel had already Supporting for Glory, but most people think he deserved this one the most. (I just watched Malcom X for the first time a couple of months ago; nobody told me it had dance numbers!)
But damn I wish Robert Downey, Jr had won. Even if a consequence of that would definitely be, he wouldn’t have become Tony Stark.
Soooo true

Al and Chris were absolutely fantastic in Scent of a Woman. Wonderful movie
Something remarkable about this:
Normally the regulation time for an Oscar acceptation speech is 45 seconds. After that, the band starts to play and you move on.
Al Pacino spoke for almost 4 minutes (3 minutes; 50 seconds)...and he was NEVER interrupted. At all.
That shows the greatness this guy has as an actor and as a Hollywood living legend.
I think the best actor award, since it's the main award, is given more time.
He wasn't interrupted at all during his Emmy speech back in 2004 when he won for Angels In America either. He's the BEST.
