Jamie's window seat is perfectly positioned to see and hear the mighty RB211 engines on one of Jet 2's wonderful Boeing 757-200 aircraft. The roar of the engines on take-off is amazing and is accompanied by clear scenery during the climb out from runway 5L at Manchester. The final approach scenery into Mahon is also clear. Another very enjoyable trip report from Jamie. Well done and keep them coming!
@raybrown2197 I've heard Jet2 extended the 757s life till February instead of December 2024, but sadly by April they will all be gone indeed, so I'm trying to fly them as much as possible
@KingBob99Shorts I can confirm it was Menorca most airports in that part of Spain look similar but It definitely was Mahon or the pilots made a slight detour 🤣 thanks for watching 👍

Sadly all Jet2s 757 will be gone by April 2025.

@KingBob99Shorts no it's not, there are 3 islands Ibiza, Palma De Mallorca and Menorca I went to Menorca the 3rd island 👍
