I saw some websites selling plugins and themes with original license keys at meager prices. How does this thing work? Where do they find such keys? Just for an example, Templately, a plugin...cost $299.99 for a lifetime, whereas that ghost is offering the same for less than 30 USD .
Under the GPL license, anyone who has access to a GPL-licensed WordPress plugin can legally distribute it to others. This means that a single copy of a GPL-licensed plugin can be sold to thousands of users, as long as each user is provided with the source code and granted the same GPL license rights.
