Excellent summary of the better budget IEMs. I bought the G10 based on your review and agree it is better value than the other options at a similar sort of price. Thanks for sharing
@@ReganCipher awesome looking forward to it! Q1 pro looks like a direct upgrade to my ew200 but I got these for ~20 usd so I'll probably stick with them until something really revolutionary comes out on the budget side.
I picked this set up recently. I do wish it had a little more note weight and authority in the low end but it's still very good (especially for the price 😉). Thank you for another great review! 👍
Another great review man! Have you tried the Truthear Hexa or the Truthear Zero Red? I know they're a bit more $. I'd like to know what you think of those if you get the opportunity.
Thanks mate 👍 I tried the Zero Red and thought they were pretty good, probably the best warmer-leaning set in their price category until I tried the Kefine Delci recently. Haven't tried the Hexa but I'll try and get a set in at some point 👍
@@ReganCipher Thanks Regan! I'm a challenging/large fit and am glad to see these EPZ Q1 Pros are a deeper fit as well as having a bit brighter tonality than the original Q1, as you point out. I like the value and look forward to picking up a set.
I covered it in the review from 07:22. EW200 is more energetic, Q1 Pro is slightly more relaxed. Q1 Pro for long listening sessions, EW200 can be fatiguing depends on your personal preference. EW200 staging is marginally bigger, Q1 Pro imaging and technicalities a shade better but the differences are very small
@@ReganCipherFriend, thank you very much for taking the time to answer my questions so clearly and precisely. I think I will go for the EPZ Q1 Pro as they have a more relaxed sound. New subscriber, your content is of great quality!
@LiamPitt thank you! Yeah that's the reason I prefer the Q1 Pro. I prefer the bass of the ew200 but they can go a bit too bright. You can also get the Q1 Pro with usb-c cable which is a bit of a bargain 👍
I'm genuinely torn between the Q1 Pro and the EW200. On the one hand the EW200 may be too shouty and sibilant for me, but has the bass and technical performance I want. The Q1 Pro fixes the sibilance and is more listenable for longer but lacks the bass amount I want.
Yeah you summed that up pretty well. For me, the Q1 Pro is probably a slightly better deal, especially the bundle with the usb-c cable, which still usually puts it cheaper than the EW200. If you're a gamer, though, you might feel like the very marginal improvement in imaging is worth the extra few quid. I dunno, only you can decide bro, either way I think you'll be happy though
@@ReganCipher Does the lack of bass from the Q1 Pro make it sound thin and lack note weight? Also does the lack of upper treble air make it sound dark? That's ultimately my biggest gripe about the set. I like listening to Jpop, Rock, Hiphop tracks that are energetic. Currently leaning towards getting the EW200 and hope I can tolerate the shoutyness and sibilance.
Imaging is pretty good for a budget set on both, maybe marginally better on the EW200. I found the Q1 Pro more comfortable though,, as my EW200 at least suffered with a bit of driver flex
Hello there! I don't know why but your squiglink seems to not be working properly. Tried some autoeq there but it always shows a pop-up and nothing happens... Is it the same for you?
It worked ok for me last time I checked, but I recently did some upgrades so there may now be an issue..... Let me clear my cookies and see if it's still playing up
Could you possibly do me a big favour? Would you mind checking again if it's working, maybe try with a private tab save clearing your cookies. Seems to be working for me now, thanks for the heads up!
The Trio is a different sort of set - bulkier, three drivers, fun sounding with tucked midbass and sharp treble. Q1 Pro is smoother, bright neutral tuning and maximises its single driver. If you already have the Trio, I probably wouldn't get the Q1 Pro unless you're looking for a slightly different sound
Really nice review and great video. Keep up the good work!
Thank you! 🙏
Nice review, thanks. I agree EPZ are massively underrated. Seems a lot of reviewers agree with you on the Q1 Pro, might have to give them a go
No idea why they don't get more traction. Way better than junk like KZ!
Great review! If you can only get one IEM based on soundstage between SuperMix4 and 500LM which one would it be ?
Thank you! Supermix4 has the wider staging but both are very decent in this area
@@ReganCipher Thanks, I’ll look into getting one of these on the 11/11 sales

@@ReganCipherepz q1 pro or reds your preference?
Kefine Delci>Zero Red>Q1 Pro
The treble is a bit relaxed on Zero Red compared to Q1 Pro so it depends on your preference really
Which one would you recommend, these EPZ Q1 Pro or the Simgot EW200? (I will only use it for electronic pop rock music)
And by the way, which one do you think has the best Soundstage and Imaging?

I am going to pick these up ! I wonder how these compare to theZiigat Nuo?
The Nuo are slightly warmer with more rolled off trebles. The Q1 Pro have slightly better detail. Not a huge upgrade if you're coming from the Nuo

Agree! EPZ are so underrated
I like them with divinus velvet, spinfit w1 or the h570 tips.
Ooh - as you could probably see in the vid I like the h570 with them. I'll give the other tips a try though, thanks for the recommendation 👍
