I spent a few free hours of my day today going through my closet (makeup stash) and cleared out 2-30gal trash bags of makeup. Ugh. It feels good, but I feel so dumb for buying more than I could ever use. Does anyone else struggle with feeling like they need to try every new product? It’s just so fun and exciting…but you only know so many people to give away things to after a while. My daughters and nieces all have so much because of me. lol
Its so exciting to see new products and makeup tools that lure you into buying buying products all the time. I had to realize that I could only use so much but could go broke. I had to stop. So yeah I get it ❤
I’m right there with you, sister. I do the exact same thing. When I have unopened makeup, I donate those products to a women’s shelter. This shelter in our area works with domestic violence victims to help them assimilate back into the workforce and give a boost to their self-esteem.
Hey Saturday besties. Hope everyone is having a great Saturday and have a nice Easter. My dad and I went to dinner with my sister and bil last night for Thai food. We had been a couple times with our mom but dementia caused her to stop liking foods she previously liked. I mean she used to stop and get Thai takeout to take with her to bingo. Also it seemed to affect how things tasted. Anyway we had a nice dinner.
Yea the Adept Cybirg palette is def beautiful! I think I still think I like their Element 115 palette just a little bit more lol. But it doesn’t matter bcz they’re all sold out anyway. As usual🙄
Hey Tara, I'd love to know what you think of the Guerlain concealer compared to the Natasha one, and do you have the newest Dior concealer? I have the Dior and really like the shade, I have quite a pink leaning undertone as well and have so many concealers that in the end all end up WAY too dark as they all oxidize so much :(
This is the very first Adept eyeshadow palette that totally speaks to my soul! They've had some that I really liked, but this is full-on LOVE I'm feeling after seeing the swatches. Since we have the same eye color (and shape w/puffy, heavy hoods, too), I could see myself getting a ton of use from it for spring and summer. Oh, and because I live in the Arizona desert; mental air-conditioning!!!

I wish I could wear the box of lip plumpers but I developed a really bad rash that turns into burning blisters when I use them it’s terrible and very painful that last four days!!!! @Buxom
I hate that I am noticing the clicking the sounds that you are making with your tongue at the beginning of the sentence. I had heard people making these comments in past and thought that was the stupidest thing ever to notice. And here I am noticing that. It’s not bothering me, just amazed that I am able to hear that.

So sorry to hear about your mom having Dementia my sister does too.🙏🏻❤️
