I love that Felicia is voicing a couple characters in this. Still hoping they can just move the Slayer's Take to the Chroma Conclave arc to get Lyra, Zahra, Kashaw & Thorbir

I mean, they posted this video on Nerdist as well (seems to be a common practice on the sister sites for similar videos). Really it's a LDN collab. Dan's moved up in the world...looks like he's the VP of creative & development for LDN. It makes sense that they would slap some G&S branding on a version of the interview, but I'm always a little bit bummed whenever Becca shows up on G&S or a seemingly random video pops up. Bittersweet. Great memories of what was, while also a bummer that the shell of this channel is still being propped up with zero intent to invest in its return.

( Destiny with you at least)

crazy seeing Critical Role back on Geek & Sundry, weirdly nostalgic. Insanely happy that they've been doing well with their own company and all the great stuff they've been producing because of becoming independant but part of me does miss when it was just a little low budget stream.
Liam is spot on with his friends to family comment. Funny how D&D has a way of doing that.

Thanks Geek & Sundry! It was through your other shows like TableTop that my brothers and I started watching Critical Role in 2016. We were like "what are these hours long videos that keep appearing in our subscription tab?" Eventually my brother started watching and then we all did and its been an amazing ride.

You know whats amazing about this show? Every big set piece gives me warm fuzzies because they feel so familiar. Weather it be Emon, the Keep, Whitestone, etc, everything is somehow just as I imagined it. Now, I only started listening to Critical Role starting C1 E1 a year ago, and I'm just now finishing C1, but I think it is not only a testament to Matt's descriptive storytelling but also a huge kudos to the design team for finding a way to literally make these wonderful dreams a reality. Thank you guys for all that you do! Long Live Vox Machina!

@@Ekami-chan : Not exactly -- more, as I imagine it, and as the writer of the song wrote it, I see it as a tavern shanty. Especially, my head-canon being, on Exandria, there are bards that learn the songs for both Mighty Nein and Vox Machina, and they sing them in taverns and around for generations afterward.

@@masquerademage : You're welcome! I always love listening to shanty-style songs; I'm not sure why, though I suspect it's because I'm half-Irish and part Swedish/Viking in my ancestry. And both cultures like to sing songs around a fire, around a tavern, or even around sharing a drink or two.
Before I forget: If you do actually watch C2, just be warned that there are points in the story that will make you think, that will make you teary-eyed or cry, and there will be surprises.

I am 91 episodes into Campaign 2 thanks to the animated series. Played D&D as a kid in the 70s. Critical Role has improved the game. I am looking forward to season 2 with the Chroma Conclave and, hopefully, Season 3 with Vecna. Then they can animate the Mighty Nein.

I'm just happy the utter lack of production value @ G&S didn't hurt CR. The first 40 or so episodes had more than one that were unwatchable, but we had no choice if we wanted to follow the story.

Tiberius Stormwind is IP that belongs to a player who is no longer part of anything related to Critical Role since c1e27. So why should there be the said character?

I feel it would be offensive if they took Orion's character when he clearly doesn't want to be associated with CR anymore. It's really the best option for both parties to leave him out. (Plus I'm pretty sure Orion has the rights to him anyway)
How about: for the same reason that Vox Machina is not featured in "Draconian Knights" or whatever the name of that project was. Sometimes people need to part ways to do each their own thing and succeed... or to fail and learn from that the hard way.
They should add Orion Acaba's character, make him just as unlikable as Acaba did during his 2 weeks of sessions before he got kicked off for being the biggest asshole around, and then kill the character off. Acaba was such a piece of trash that he deserves no less.
They shouldn't, Orion screwed up bad but people still hating him this hard after this long is a little toxic. Let it go and forget he ever played with them, it's a lot easier
