Hello, just found your channel. I used to run a head saw for a fer years. When i would flip my logs and cants, i would back the log up just a bit on the headblocks and take the log tuner and and put down presser on the top of the log and pull out so i was turning one face instead of three faces. I don't know if you ever tried that but it would speed up your cycle time a bit. Nice sawing too.
@nicholssawmillandmore it's going to take some time to get used to it but when you do it really speeds up your time. You have to make sure the edge is on the head block so it doesn't get stuck.
Ya I have the cant kickers but if I have a big log and they need some help I will use the log turner as well. Whatever speeds up production. Even 20 seconds here and there adds up at the end of the day. It could be 5 more logs
You weren't kidding, big straight logs! Thank you for sharing! Dan
You're welcome Dan!
Nice timber. Thanks for the great video.
Pretty good for sure. You're welcome!
Good job Guys,

Thanks! You're welcome!
Logs are just like a book , you can't tell a book by it's cover .
I agree 100 percent!
