Hey man, I just want to thank you for that Amazon list, the idea of acupuncture needles for ma.k aerials is genius, and I was at a loss trying to source more springs for when my Wave ones run out, I bought tamiya super detailing hose but it's a horrible chrome and needs spraying black
amazon check my bio for link to my lists if not search counter sunk magnets all look around to see if i posted the exact size. might be in video description.
This is awesome! Do you ever watch Night Shifts channel? He paints WW2 tanks but the detailing he adds to them is awesome and would work really well on MK
Before OSH hardware went under i would buy from them Ebay would be a source or if you have a hardware store with specialty fittings, like ACE. the magnet was from ebay seach counter sink rare earth magnets.
I know this video's already a couple of years old, but is there any chance you have a tutorial or guide on how to do the joint replacement mods you described in the beginning?
no video, but its just glue the counter sunk magnet in and i glued steel ball bearing to upper arm, could use putty and sculpt texture cover. i have used this again on a current kit if theres better footage ill use and explain better in that newer video thanks for questions.
Your weathering is always perfect man. This is awesome.

Do you use enamels for the painting or acrylics?
In most cases lacquer base then acrylic for chipping as i can clean it off eaiser, then enamel for wash and rust effect.
Wow! It looks great! how did you apply the texture coat? Stippling with a large brush??
Sponge application, see my texture videos to see.

Search N35 countersunk ring magnet 3mm hole and 5mm hole. Balls are all metal.
