Wow!!! This is just amazing!!!! And what gorgeous embossing powders!!! Absolutely love them all equally!!! Thank you so much for this stunning test!!!! xxx
Ugh!...I saw on Seth's website last week that these are now taking some time to get out. I should've known better and ordered a couple of months ago as you did. That tag though...woweee!! Thanks for sharing your review because I am super-hyped about these!
Yep...I suspected the Baked Textures were going to be awesome and jumped on the pre-order right away. Not something I normally do, Kim - but this was TOO good to wait on. Emerald Creek is working like crazy to get new inventory distributed as fast as they can...everybody will have a chance to grab 'em soon, my friend. xox
Ok, just got my baked textures - beeswax and patina oxide - so excited! Was wondering what other binders I could use and you gave so many options. Thank you for your wonderful , well done video!
Deliciously dark AF! I’m a new subscriber and I’ve fallen in love with all your techniques. You’ve got some serious talent, chica. Been doing mixed media for about 30 years and thought I’d seen it all. Boy was I wrong!! xoxo
Hey blonde lebanese! Whoa...thank you, girl! It's the weird and quirky stuff that gets my attention - as you can probably tell 😜 Thank you SO much for your generous remarks - they fuel the Creative Fire! xox
What a lovely thing to say, Kathy! Thank you so much for taking the time to say so. Deeply appreciated. I LOVE these Baked Texture Embossing Powders and can't wait to create more Mayhem with 'em! xox
Oh, once you get your hands on them, you'll be hooked LynzCraftz Designz! So deliciously grungy and metallic...YUM. Thanks for enjoying my first play time with me! xox
Loved your review. Those new embossing powders are truly amazing. I've not made the plunge for embossing powders, but these are baked goodies. Thank you.
Great video. I received my powder about 2 days ago. I ordered them last month. Was not sure what to do with them but in the back of my mind, I could see how they would work in Steam Punk or Grunge. I love your website and look forward to checking out the video. Thanks
The Baked Texture Embossing Powders are SO interesting to me, Lois. I see many unconventional possibilities with them, and I find that exciting. Thank you for visiting Thicketworks! I'm delighted to welcome you into the Thicket! xox
Wow, just watched your DIY metallic cardstock video and came straight to the new embossing powders that you just showed. Love them too. I preordered in December also but still need to try them. But at least I now have a direction to go in combining these to videos for my *SteamPunk. Thanks for making these two videos. Off to watch more of your videos.
You are going to LOVE the Baked Textures, Lois. And combining with DIY Metallic Cardstock? Brilliant. Thank you for sharing your oh-so-cool idea, my friend. xox
Heather this is a great display of Seth Apter's new baked textures, wish it would be more readily available, the product is in absolute high demand. if you know of a great deal for this, please give a shout out.. Thank you again for the great tutorial.. LOVE it.
Hey girl! I hear ya - EVERYBODY wants this magic stuff, and I don't blame 'em. Emerald Creek is working night and day to satisfy demand, but they can only do what they can do, you know? I don't currently have a coupon code - but if that changes, I'll be shouting it from the rooftops, Kelly. xox
Molten lava comes to mind? What a yummylicious mix! It's early still so brain not yet properly engaged (well, relatively speaking of course. Let's not get carried away.) Absolutely lush tag. These are ALL on my pre-order list. However I think it might be some time before I can actually purchase every one. Tyfs as now I know which to go for first. Thought they'd be a bit like Susan Lenart iced enamel. Much more chunky though & well, different in many ways. Be interesting to mix the 2 perhaps. Now I'm merely thinking out loud. Lol. Thanks as always, Heather! Byeee. Till next time. Caroline 😎🐾
Hi Caroline! I love the idea of mixing Baked Texture with Iced Enamels - very cool. And molten lava? Love that. Thanks for visiting me here, my friend - AND for the lovely shout out on FB - you ROCK! xox
Heather Tracy I'm glad you always seem to understand my ramblings, lol. It's my pleasure to share, I really should have asked first but well, in the excitement I forgot to. Take care Heather, YOU are the one who ROCKS!😶🙃👀🦋
Girl, you never have to ask my permission to share - I'm honored that you would do so! Thank you for always bringing a smile to my face, darling Caroline. xox
Thank you so much for the kindness - and for subscribing, @ The Quiet Midden. I honestly do not know whether or not the glycerine is acid-free. I will discolor light colored paper or cardstock. But, if you use it for embossing, that will be hidden.
Uh oh! Hey, Kelly! You didn't mess up, girl...Glycerine is sticky stuff...a little goes a LONG way. Maybe try adding a top coat of Spray Sealer or Triple Thick Gloss Glaze? - they can help 'hide our crimes' ! xoxo
it got messy, so the trash got some beauty added to it again, I think my baked textures are wet, I am letting them dry out over paper for a couple of days, then try it again, I was reading some stuff, not always, but sometimes they can get wet, and if they do, just lay them out over paper to dry out and try again. This is the first time I used it since I got it, was tucked away in my I WANT TO DRAWER, lol..I will test them out with versafine ink embosser first, then if that works, I will try a wee tiny tiny amount of the glycerin, which works great on dry feet too, I bought it off you link suggestion, and saw it was for skin too, so, the body gets some glycerin too,, and yes a little goes along way there too. Thank Heather, have a wonderful Labor day weekend, I know you are making some new stuff, been watching you
Heather Tracy ,lol! Thanx hun. Keep up the good work, y'all have shown me ways of do'in textures that I ain't never seen anyone else do. You are a very good teacher!
Heather, love this new medium. What do you think about adding this to mixed media canvas?
Hi Rose! Oh, this will definitely be showing up in my next Mixed Media Canvas - it's perfect for that!
That is exactly my thoughts!
It such a pleasure to see your videos and hear the way you present what you love.
That makes me happier than I can express, my friend. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Maria 😘

That nuance is what makes these embossing powders so cool! I'm glad you like 'em, too, AmyJoyStudios!
I love the faux encaustic! Adding the matte medium is the genius touch. Now I must go off to my studio to see if I can replicate this look.
You go, TrumblebeeMom! And Seth recommended the Matte Medium thingie - genius! Have fun! xox

Stamped Distress Inks only, Rose. Hope this is what you meant?

I tried it with the glycerin, oops think I put too much on, way really oily after I heated it up, Is that normal. Leave it to me to mess it up.
