Any over Jin mains here that don't like how they simplified him from T7? I hate when I beat someone it's always "he's cheap" etc. Compared to T7, I would get some respect.
Other characters have cheaper moves and strings. Jin is pretty honest by comparison. Only like a few are more honest than him. Kazuya is one, feng is one. Besides are you really going to listen to hwoarang and king mains?
Just keep practicing high level ghost matches and practice mode with the lever less, I’m in the same situation as you, I got to red ranks with pad and now just got the Haute42 T16, just practice getting comfortable with movement and combos and you’ll be good.
Do Combo Guides for every character on both sides(Coorejam has pretty excellent guides). Look up "shortcuts"(alternate methods) on how to do various techniques. For example, depending on your leverless, you can often shift your left index or thumb to the forward button so it's easier to press it with 2 on the same hand(for electrics); sliding downwards on the left or right button for lightning fast while running moves, etc.,
