He quit at earlier stage of his career, he got to take care of his children when his wife went to heaven, he is already a champion. He is my hero of Police Academy.

He was always in the funniest parts in the comedy movies of the 80’s. Then, he just seems to have disappeared for 30 years, and now… well, I’m glad he’s back! Hope we can see more of him and his amazing “voice box”!

@@greggv8 hell of a man, there. Obviously, he made enough from what movies he was in up to that point to where he could take that kind of time off and do what he needed to do, which is good. If anyone in Hollywood deserves that kind of break to where he doesn't have to worry about money on top of everything else that's awful, I'm glad it was him
This man was in every 80s movie we loved and there is a beautiful innocence to what he does

Presentation of the story could be slightly better, but he really needs to get through. How a human can make those sounds is beyond me

i know there's a beatbox tv contest out there... They should name the first place award after him: “The Michael Winslow beatbox award”
It surprised me that Michael Winslow entered this competition, as many of us remember his voice work so well from the "Police Academy" movies. I hope the exposure on this show gets him lots of work; he deserves it.
he did a charity event with me last weekend. i will be putting up a video of that soon. he does other work.
And believe me he is still making major bucks in all the police academies still til this day... ROYALTY RIGHTS & me as a super duper PA fan I still watch them all.

I love the noises he makes, but it could have been a better story wrapped around it. I'm not sure I'd see a whole show of this, but it's seriously great to see Michael Winslow performing again.

He was a LOT better in his old standup specials and definitely had the talent for a whole show on his own. He might be out of practice now but he's DEFINITELY got it in him for it somewhere.
