Helpful video, I think this video is helpful for java developers who wants to have an overview of maven build tool, For Devops engineers, practicals needs to be done
I usually do not give negative comment, but if you are new to Maven do not watch this video. It is just blabbering. All I can remember is dependencies dependencies dependencies. Bad teachers ruin good students.
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you had such a frustrating experience, but we really appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention
Thanks for your time and effort. But same topics are repeated 2 to 3 times. No practical example or exercise, only theoretical funda doesn't make it clear to the learners. Maven life cycle phases are just briefed, but learners want to know in details like 'how?'. Even Maven commands are not explained. Only Maven installation is prectically shown. Still appreciate your effort, and do not take my comment as criticism. Thanks.
Even after spending few hours on this video could not explain to me how I can create a Hello World Project on eclipse as a beginner, understand how jar files work, understand how yo create my own jar file.

for example, groupid could be the name of the google company, the artifactId will be one of its projects (gmail, google meet ...) and so on. The groupId will help us to differentiate between the companies and the artifactId between the projects of the same company.
Finished watching just now. And I fell like it missed some examples to let me know what everything meant. I just feel as if I was making a chinese course here, and decorated a lot of chinese symbol pronunciations without never knowing what they meant.

JDK8 is still considered industry-standard... As there are not many significant changes (compared to JDK8 when it came into existence) after JDK8, so it's perfectly fine to continue with JDK8... Moreover, for any industry, it's important to have an LTS version of JDK for the Production environment, and currently, JDK 8 and JDK 11 are LTS versions in the market as far as I know... Although you can move to JDK 11 if you want, however, as per one survey, 64% of developers still use JDK8...

I found this too theoretical. I don't know what a groupId is or an artifactId and I did not see enough of "how to", just theory.
for example, groupid could be the name of the google company, the artifactId will be one of its projects (gmail, google meet ...) and so on. The groupId will help us to differentiate between the companies and the artifactId between the projects of the same company.
yes you are right .. only theory
agree

Why are you still using Java 8?!
Hi Henry, we will make the updated video using the latest version.

Moreover, for any industry, it's important to have an LTS version of JDK for the Production environment, and currently, JDK 8 and JDK 11 are LTS versions in the market as far as I know...
