@@CodesEasy When I copy and paste an image like shown, it doesn't go through the different directory options. Instead it pastes into the drawable packag with (v24) by default. How do i fix this?

I think you should add "*before Flamingo" to the title, because after the loading screen the structure and menus no longer correspond to this video
Yes there are few changes with the latest android studio ui
@@CodesEasy yes there is. for instance if you pick "empty activity" in flamingo, the language java field is no longer there, and you have to go to "empty VIEWS activity" instead. That alone took me 20 fucking minutes of googling to find out.

Now a question, after you have your first app, how do you make to promote it? Where do you get your first 10 users if its not a B2C app?
It depends on who your customers are. Find a place where most of the customer type you require are present online or offline and reach out to them.

You have to create a view activity. Check this while creating the project. Its name empty view activity

my drawable png file does not show up in the pick a resource pop up to choose a picture, any suggestions? I also had to make my own layout & activity_main.xml
Check if the file is properly placed then, go to file menu and click invalid cache and restart

You can go move the file to the drawable folder manually. Go to file manager and do it or simply use the refractor option in android studio.
Or delete the file you currently pasted and the when you paste the new file you will see the path you can edit it there.
@@CodesEasy Yh but edit it for what? I don’t get what to remove from the file to stop showing the (v24) next to it. Why do we not want the v24? Is that the incorrect way of pasting it in?
if you open the project in file explorer you can see drawables folder and the x24 also delete the file from x24 and add it to drawables
@@CodesEasy so i should delete the ic_launcher_foreground.xml (v24) file from the drawable folder and then copy and paste in my image in that same folder? Also I cannot find the file explorer. I can only see device file explorer
No don't touch the default file that android studio have kept. Just delete the file you have pasted (if you have pasted there.)

Yes, you can. You have to change the package name and name etc
Vch version is better Kit Kat or lollipop
For minimum support version use kitkat

I'm getting an error with the setContentView(R.layout.activity.main);
It says cannot resolve symbol 'R':12 when I go to problems... Please help me deal with it
Go to File -> Invalidate cache and restart. Most probably the build will not be complete.

how to build that application to apk file ?
Iam stucked in a problem, I have designed 10 level quiz, it should be like 1st level unlock and reamaining should be locked. And when 1st level completed, the second level should be unlocked. And if I complete 5 levels and exit the apo, and when I open again, I should be in 6th level, please help me.

My app previous update version was only 10
megabyte. But now I have added some features,, the size jumped to 25 MB, which is not possible because I have added very small amount of code... When I cancled all and go to previous version by github using version control; it also showing 25MB in released version,,, which was 10MB..
Set shrink in gradle true and proguard settings properly

In details :: Sir, when I was generated .aab file in version 2.1 it was 10 megabite , and I upload it on playstor the size was 8MB.. so, the size of 2MB is reduced after upload....... But now,, this version is 2.2 , the generated .aab file size is 25MB and when I uploaded it on playstor , the size was 21 MB... Now I am trying to back on 2.1 version... But But when I generate the .aab file of version 2.1 ; now it is showing 25 MB which was 10MB in previous.. NOTE: same file , no change , no release rules changed , everything is same as previous ..
Try cleaning the cache, build and then try generating the output again

If the build is complete then you can see the project properly. Also make sure you select the Android section on the top, not the project or anything else.
