Aaron Rodgers has more talent and would do better on most other teams. However, Tom Brady has had the better career and is a better playoff executor. Even though you can't go wrong with either options, I'd take Rodgers on my team.

Brady is 5-2 in the Superbowl, meaning that he was on the best team in the NFL five times and the second best twice. Nice inflated stats. Also I like that even the idea that someone making the Superbowl 9 times is a bad thing. Yes Brady has an O line, I'll give you that, however, look at Bradys wide receivers. He's had ONE All Star wide receiver and at most three other really good ones. Not to mention that this season Brady has a defense with the MOST amount of yards given, and guess what? 8-2, and only looking better with each game. Aaron might look better in the regular season, but you can't be called better than Tom Brady with only one Superbowl win.

I still believe that Green Bay lacks quality receiving corps but Aaron Rodgers make them look way better than they are. He threw one total td the entire playoffs leading to his first sb and needed the tuck rule to bail him out. Bradys been very fortunate, and for his career has had much better total rosters and coaching.

The AFC is actually better this year. In the NFC, Cowboys clinched the #1 seed with 2 weeks to spare. Patriots had the same record and couldn't clinch until the season was over. AFC teams have a higher win percentage.
To me, it comes down to O-line and running game. When either Rogers or Brady have both compliments, they're both unstoppable. But as soon as the O-line or running game struggles, both offenses are less dynamic. And, then, the QBs have to do a lot more which makes it much tougher to win. I agree with Lombardi that too much emphasis is put on the QB (i.e., win or lose). Like Belichick always say after any Pats victory, _"It was good, complimentary football!"_

They got lucky against Arizona when the kicker missed the FG, Miami could've tied but choked, Texans led by Brock and the Bills shut them down against an injured 3rd string QB.
