Hi there! So, in the examples given "get" is replacing the verb "be", right? An important file was deleted = An important file got deleted. I´ve never learned that we could use it instead!! Something new to teach my own students :). BTW, I use your videos to help me in class, and I just love them!
I'm more preferred of using Past Participle than using these part of voices! like, the thief stole my bag or my bag was stolen and we might also change it into an example like, The thief has stolen my bag, or my files has already been deleted! Active and passes is good though! :)
The lesson was good but i want to compliment u maam on your voice u should try out for like discovery or nat geo these channels have narrators whose voice sounds exactly like yours or work at a call centre or something
I submitted the manuscript to the journal trough their online form before the deadline. The manuscript was submitted to the journal trough their online forms before the deadline.
I really appreciate your efforts! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). How can I transfer them to Binance?
ma'am I can't understand why are you adjusting "got" in the second & third sentence of passive?please,if you expain properly it will be helped to me.please ma'am.
Using your example there in the passive "Their window was broken!", could be possible to say "Their window got broken!"? Since you explained that "got" conveys a negative outcome of a situation, we don't know here the "agent" of the action either. In this case, as it happens in the former examples, "broken" refers to the object too. We don't know who broke the window as we don't specify who ate your lunch or who deleted the file. Maybe I'm wrong. Thank you for your reply.
active: my coworker deleted an important file passive : an important file got deleted can i use in passive, an important file was deleted instead of got deleted if not then give the reason and if yes then please explain
Please do not teach incorrectly. A passive form of verb is formed by ''Be'' form + Past participle. Eg: My coworker deleted an important file-Active form An important file *was deleted* by my coworker-Passive form Take note of this.
Hi, could anyone help me please? Which question is grammatically correct? - On/In/At what sites will this product be able to be sold? On/In/At which sites will this product be able to be sold? What/Which sites will this product be able to be sold? And does it make sense to write "will this product be able to be sold"? Thank you!
I had alot of problems with making passive voices. It helped alot but I still have a question about passive verbs. How can we make passive voice by a present tense verb? For example: I write a letter. How can we make a passive voice by Above sentence ?
I'm gonna try answer your question. "If I were you" is incorrect, I is subject , (were) is aux verb, and you is object. The aux verb u're gonna use it depends on the subject. The correct one is "If I was you"
Example: "They broke the window". It looks like active voice but we do not emphasis about person who did it, may be we don`t know. So what is this form?
C-Put into the passive voice. 1- The police arrested the thief in 2004. The thief…………………………………………………………………………. 2- The doctor is examining the patient. The patient……………………………………………………………….. 3- I shall post that letter next week. That letter……………………………………………………………………… 4- The teacher gave us a new lesson. We………………………………………………………………………………. D-Join the following sentences using the words in brackets. 1- He had strange accent, we understand him. (in spite of) 2- You have to get up. The bell rings.(as soon as) La Réponse ??

Please do not teach incorrectly. A passive form of verb is formed by ''Be'' form + Past participle.
Eg: My coworker deleted an important file-Active form
An important file *was deleted* by my coworker-Passive form
Take note of this.
Awesome class!! ❤🇧🇷
Thank you very much.
But let say I don't want to drop the subject in the passive voice, how to use it?
If you don't want to drop the subject in passive sentences then you can show or indicate the subject by using the word 'by' okay.
Hi, could anyone help me please?

Nice video, thanks for the feedback there!
I had alot of problems with making passive voices.
It helped alot but I still have a question about passive verbs.
How can we make passive voice by a present tense verb?
For example:
I write a letter.
How can we make a passive voice by Above sentence ?
yasin Nasrollahpoor A letter is written.
yasin Nasrollahpoor A letter is written by me
Sure...Thumbs up!

Really confuse rule, but great lesson
hello.very exciting thank you
best techare
You are the best
Hi Alisha, my question is "if I were you " is it correct, and may we use "if I was you" ? Thank you for answer
I'm gonna try answer your question.
"If I were you" is incorrect,
I is subject , (were) is aux verb, and you is object. The aux verb u're gonna use it depends on the subject.
The correct one is "If I was you"
"If I were you" is a special form. It is known as the subjunctive mood (from the grammatical point of view). Type 2 conditional.
Excellent video
so nice tutorial
Thanks you alisha mem
Example: "They broke the window". It looks like active voice but we do not emphasis about person who did it, may be we don`t know. So what is this form?
I liked the video
A like was given by me
