    Josh thank you for the tour of your boat. It is, Bar None, the best boat tour of any Ranger Boat on the internet and I have seen them all many times! Thank you for your most thorough descriptions of the pros and cons. I enjoyed every second of your video and will watch it many times over. Thanks again!

    Very nice! I own a 2017 Triton 24 and really like it. I think they are built at the same factory, and have a lot of similarities but also some set- up differences. I picked up some good modification/customization ideas from your boat. Thanks!

    Hey Josh.. I like t h e boat and is quite different from big red . I started my fishing for bass and fishing tournaments.. Ranger boats were the Cadillac line in bass boats.. Fished many times in a Ranger boat.. Looks like you will really enjoy your time on this boat. Makes a great charter boat for you when you have several clients.. Congrats on the boat.. Always love your videos and thanks for sharing with us. Always your friend, fan, and subscriber..

    Nice boat Josh! Like anything else it's all about customization and making it suit your needs. It really doesn't matter what anyone thinks about your boat because it's YOUR boat. You have to be happy with it and that is all that matters. Keep up the great content and I will be waiting for my invite to go fishing!

    Rangers were being made by carver yacht, don’t know about now, that’s a good look’n boat guys , lots of storage, a pee pee palace , tunes, electronics, that storage on top , they probably figured that if they opened it up it would be hard to get crap out of there if it slides forward ! But it could be a good place for maps or dry bags 🤔. Yep it’s a sweet fish’n machine ! 👍🏼

    Thanks for the video. I have been looking at bay boats and was unaware Ranger even made them. I have owned 3 Ranger bass boats and have found them to be very dependable and sturdy. Case in point, I was anchored at a lake and a jet boat hit my Ranger. It ended up on top of my front deck. The Ranger front end went down we pushed off the jet boat. The jet boat had a cracked hull. My Ranger had a small 4" by 4" inch ding where the jet boat hit me. Said I would never own any other boat than a Ranger at the point. Had several bass boat after that all Rangers. So I am really happy to find they make a bay boat. Moving to Florida shortly and I see a Ranger Bay Boat in my future. Thanks again for the video.

    Isn't that "Raw Water Washdown"? Then the FWWD would be fresh water washdown. One takes water from around the boat to wash roughly things like blood and spilled drinks, the FWWD takes stored fresh water and acts more as a final "also good for rinsing batteries and other electrical items like the trolling motor that might have gotten saltwater.
    Your side cushings are combing pads.

    Hey Joshua, love your channel! Question for you. What model Maui Jim's are you wearing in this particular video? Do you like them better than Costas and other popular fishing sunglasses? Maui's lens seem amazing so I'm sure they work wonders on the water. Thanks!

  • @laurazavatkay2782
    @laurazavatkay2782 2 роки тому

    Josh, in a previous video I asked about the shaft length of your trolling motor to which you replied "72 inches". According to Minn kotta, the shaft length is measured from the point that it enters the lower propeller unit and the point it enters the upper head unit. Would you mind telling me what that length is? Also, when stored, does the upper head unit stand proud of your rub rail? The reason for my questions is that I'm considering a ranger 2510 and am debating between a 60 inch and a 72 inch shaft. My concern is that a 72 inch shaft may interfere with the rod locker hatch and/or stand proud of the rub rail, both of which I do not want. Thank you in advance for your response. STILL LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!

    Nice lookin boat Josh. I'm curious to know why you put your catch in the baitwell rather than say a cooler? Do they eat bait while in there or just chill out?

    • @Saltyscales
      @Saltyscales  2 роки тому +2

      Hey Marcus, yea fish don't eat under distress. However, it is a great way to keep the fish alive and cull them as we catch larger fish.

    Hi Joshua, just ran across this while trouble shooting my 2020 2360. Bought new 2 1/2 yrs ago. It's on my lift unused for 6 months of the year and pugged into shore power. My caretaker informed me battery #2 is showing red on the charger. I've been told that the motor only charges the #1 battery and should only be used when cranking and running then switch to position #2 which utilizes the other 3 for accesories and trolling. Only swith to position 1&2 in the event your cranking battery is low to get restarted. Question #1 Is that your understanding of how your batteries are configured?
    #2 How long should I expect my Interstate non-lithium to last? #3 Are lithium batteries longer lasting?
    Thanks just subscribed and look forward to watching more content!

    Beautiful boat! Are those 10 foot power poles? I’m debating the 10 foot blades to be less expensive 8 foot pro series. What are your thoughts. I am equipping a very similar boat by Robalo.
