This version was created for Jordan Smith by Tommee Profitt for his epic cinematic Christmas album. Profitt is the producer behind rapper NF and also has a bunch of songs in movie trailers. He thought the story of Christmas - the story of God coming down to earth to the save the world - was pretty epic and deserved the epic treatment that film scores and movie trailers get. He wrote each arrangement with a particular singer in mind and this was Jordan's song from the beginning.
