Alright, imma try to explain The Smiler crash. On a windy and busy day most coasters at Alton Towers were closed, but due to demand they opened the smiler. On the day the coaster had minor malfunctions that were solved quickly. The resort had saw the demand and decided to put an empty fifth train onto the track. They sent out the fifth train. After it asended the first lift hill, it didnt get past the second invertion, resting at the bottom of the loop. The operators stopped all carts to look for the fifth train, and for some reason they couldn't see it. After they couldn't see it they continued operations and a train full of people went down the first lifthill and they collided with the empty train. During this agony for the riders it took around 5-6 hours for paramedics to arrive. After the smiler crash 2 Women had to get their leg amputated. Please pin!
@@omurice8534 the smiler may seem like a really bad rollercoaster, but it was just one accident. It may have ruined the reputation of it, but it is still a really good ride
No reason why this ride went too far is due to its eery weird theming not because of the accident that happened. This doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy these rides and think they are dangerous. Sorry for the misunderstanding

Stop misleading everyone, the smiler accident had nothing to do with the coaster. It was human error

@@Coaster.Capital when you talk about the inversions then immediately say there was an accident it leads the gp into thinking the design was unsafe
There have been wlot if deaths in the smiler coz of head injuries it's not misleading
@@Dis_kid. There hasn't been any deaths on The Smiler...
@@Dis_kid. not on the smiler 💀
Bro forgot the one that conects to the other part of the ride mid ride
Bro thought the smiler hurt ppl because of the ride, just the error of engineers
No that was in there for context . The smiler used to be my favourite ride until hyperia it’s a very good coaster and I have nothing against it.
I was supposed to go to Alton towers today but yesterday I threw up it was supposed to be a school trip
Nah smiler ac chilling tho
Both are phenomenal rides, and the Smiler incident had absolutely nothing to do with the inversions.
Correct, it was human error
The smiler crash had nothing to do with the inversions
Yes this is just for context of the ride . I don’t think the ride has gone to far but most people who has not ridden would find this really scary
I wanted more inversion and it to be faster
ignore the positive comments ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ummm I've been on both of them and survived 😅
Fastest coaster in the world is too far? Its mad fun honestly
Yeah it is very fun . Some people will find this ride incredibly scary unlike us enthusiasts and the general public would probably not ride
