I love the idea of Percy being scolded like a school student for not doing something the right way and being told how to do it better. Percy also has a good defense in that he’s been on this island longer than Duck and Oliver so why should he listen to them. Even though it is constructive criticism, he overreacts like any one would. Very nice touch. A relatable story to loads.
Amazing episode! Wished we had more stories with Percy or Edward on the Little Western as there aren't that any by the fandom. This also feels like an episode out of Season 5 too.
Lovely writing and adaptation. Great music included as well. I love how Bert, Rex and Mike was included in the background. Can't wait to see more adaptations. Great job.
Great New Story About Percy, Duck and Oliver You Made There I Like The Part Where All 3 Engines Laughed After Duck Said The Great Percy Way I Think That's Pretty Funny too
I think in a way Duck and Oliver were partly to blame for the incident as before Percy started working they should have explained what there is to know about running the line because when you're new to the place it's important to know all the basics, and it kind of felt like they rubbed in on him when he came to the shed for rest.
If you like to write do another idea adaption like Oliver and Duck helping Thomas and Toby on their branch lines as well, that would be awesome! Well done btw!
Wait, the Great Western Way™️ was actually the moral of the story this time and not a cliched joke? Congrats for successfully subverting the expectations set by the Brenner era! I was genuinely surprised, in a good way!
Somewhere along the lore in the TV series where it is either about him or being Thomas's friend. The Top three characters in the TV series were Thomas, Percy and James so that kind shaped their storylines.
There are many ways of doing things. The Great Western way, the wrong way, the doing it right way, the Thomas way, and now the Percy way. What way will be shown next? Anyways well done on this. Keep up the great work!
I love Percy replacing Thomas for this episode. Duck and Percy were together a lot in the early series’s like in Double Header, Duck Takes Charge, All At Sea, Diesel Does It Again and Scaredy Engines. It would be great to pair these two together, with a different approach, as Percy, like Thomas, breaks the rules to have fun and Duck is more a traditionalist and abides by rules to work hard.
I like that you included Isabel and Dulcie being pulled by Oliver and Alice and Mirabel being pulled by Duck. The autocoaches don't get that much love in fan series these days, mostly just Duck and Oliver pulling Red Coaches.
The trucks can apply their own brakes? I thought they needed people to do that! Also, I guess you couldn't manipulate their models to change the position of the chains, could you?
By The Way is That The Only Thing That Will Happen to Percy on The Little Western or Did Some else Happen During His Time There and Will it Be Mention in Another Story?
I feel like Oliver is out of character he doesn’t believe in the great western way… at all the great western literally tried to scrap him… duck however is in character very over exaggerated almost CGI version of his character which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but if you’re going for the TVs style this story didn’t work(When it comes to Oliver)
I do like this story, but idk know I feel like there’s more potential to be achieved here. Like I feel that both parties could learn a lesson here. Sure Percy at the start messed up the quality of his work, doesn’t listen to Duck and Oliver’s righteous 2 cents, and gets his comeuppance. Whereas, Duck -at Percy’s accident- looking hella smug and condescending, most likely afterwards, will have grown proud, conceited and extra controlling for sake of his heritage. (I’ve no doubt that Oliver is somewhat proud of GWR roots and customs too but I can’t say he’d be ever go kissing GWR asses like Duck.)- In his context is reckon that Oliver would get a big head solely over vindication and his knowledge/intellect. Anyway with both our westerners on a confident streak, Percy no doubt would get angry at this. Maybe try and pay them back or wait until one of them slips up to get even. Maybe it’s just me but I feel like, Oliver’s vainglory would be short-lived; either because not even he can stand Duck’s big mouth, some (I’d guess) minor manner of folly (maybe light derailment), or maybe he just eventually comes back down to earth with a few words or on his own accord. Essentially I feel like Duck would be the main issue. He’d probably boast a bunch about the grandeur of the GWR, and start unnecessarily micromanaging Percy and eventually Oliver. But by the end when all’s said and done and everyone’s been humbled, Percy admits that he should be most receptive to reason and advice, especially in new situations; And Duck & Oliver apologize for their vanity, egos and their condescending delivery of criticism. Duck moreso for being so overbearing, neurotic, and a self-righteous asshole. Both sides learn that they were both in the wrong and have some growing to do. But what would be the cherry on top to this alt-version would be a lack of appearance from TFC. Idk personally I’d like to see such conflict be resolved without his input, and moreso just from the engines, their crews and other rail staff. Just my opinion though, take it or leave it ✌️

Seeing all three GWR tank engines working together was something I've been wanting to see. And you sir made it happen.
Amazing episode! Wished we had more stories with Percy or Edward on the Little Western as there aren't that any by the fandom. This also feels like an episode out of Season 5 too.
I love this story. The message is clear, about taking constructive criticism, and it's presented in a way that feels true to the series.
Lovely writing and adaptation. Great music included as well. I love how Bert, Rex and Mike was included in the background. Can't wait to see more adaptations. Great job.
Great video mate, best wishes from the UK as always. 👍🏻 🚂
This a such a chill and heartwarming story, it feels very classic TTTE. Well done
Great New Story About Percy, Duck and Oliver You Made There

they why weren’t they punished?
Quite a fair point.
i feel like the Thomas Way inspired this episode. Very nice.
If you like to write do another idea adaption like Oliver and Duck helping Thomas and Toby on their branch lines as well, that would be awesome! Well done btw!
Duck worked on Thomas's branch line when Thomas was at the works in "The Runaway".
Ironic since Percy is a former Great Western engine.
I assume Percy decides to do things "his" way... that can only end well.
Wait, the Great Western Way™️ was actually the moral of the story this time and not a cliched joke? Congrats for successfully subverting the expectations set by the Brenner era! I was genuinely surprised, in a good way!
Stories about Percy on the Little Western work so perfectly I'm surprised there was never any in the show
Somewhere along the lore in the TV series where it is either about him or being Thomas's friend.
The Top three characters in the TV series were Thomas, Percy and James so that kind shaped their storylines.
Awww This is so Realistic AND heartwarming, nice job bro
i love the idea that Percy is helping on TLW. he is green like Duck and Oliver, after all, so that's what the guys have common.
He is also a GW Saddle Tank engine that never worked on the GWR as he was bought by Sir Topham brand new.
You only JUST realized that?
@@ChimpManZ1264 That is true. Hence his naiveness, he was literally a baby.
@@ChimpManZ1264 That's Right.
They’re all green, small, tank engines, and are all friends.. Holy cow! They have more in common than anybody might think!
There are many ways of doing things. The Great Western way, the wrong way, the doing it right way, the Thomas way, and now the Percy way. What way will be shown next?
Anyways well done on this. Keep up the great work!
I like the ending credits music that is the SpongeBob Ending Theme in the style of the Thomas Closing Credits
ye
They're Troublesome Trucks.
Oliver is pablo.
Duck is poppy.
Percy is pumpkin.
Never heard of The Great Percy Way before. But I still enjoyed reacting to this.
There goes my little friend Percy
Mans here pumping out content like a machine!!!
My new years resolution
@@themillerstation are those the small railway engines in the background
@@themillerstation want some more Thomas Random House story?
I can give you some story script so you make more video. how that sound?
Great show 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Here’s an idea: Henry and the forest fire.
i love your stories! i was wondering if they're free to adapt? with credit of course
They are!
Now there are two ways to do things wrong: The Great Percy Way, and the Wrong Way.
I love Percy replacing Thomas for this episode. I loved that crash was look so accurately realistic.
Yoo it’s you 😱
Nice that you included the Arlesdale engines, but you forgot about Frank.
I like that you included Isabel and Dulcie being pulled by Oliver and Alice and Mirabel being pulled by Duck. The autocoaches don't get that much love in fan series these days, mostly just Duck and Oliver pulling Red Coaches.
Did anyone else know that Percy is actually based on the batch of GWR saddle tank engines?.
Excellent story featuring the green tank engines
The trucks can apply their own brakes? I thought they needed people to do that! Also, I guess you couldn't manipulate their models to change the position of the chains, could you?
Well Done Miller Station!
small animation error as you forgot to have the truck behind percy cuppled up at 3:32
Can’t wait for a Percy and Duck duo I suppose
Oh it'll be more than Percy and Duck
@@themillerstation the autocoaches?
@@themillerstation so what did you think of those 7 stories of random house from yesterday?
Interestingly, Percy was made of Great Western stock, so he would've known how to do things by then. 😉
The great Percy way is decent. I always wanted to write a story of Percy and the little western gang. Looks like u beat me to it.
By The Way is That The Only Thing That Will Happen to Percy on The Little Western or Did Some else Happen During His Time There and Will it Be Mention in Another Story?
We shall see
When fans care more about a franchise than Mattel or Netflix.
