The tempo is slightly different from the original, not enough to notice by ear but significant enough that if you record vocals on one it's not going to match on the other
Specifically on tracks recorded before the 'Pro-Tools' era. ...before click tracks etc, this is generally always the case. 2000~ish is the bridge into that era, and this track was recorded 2002/2003, so I guess MUSE wasn't going full digital on the album. As a result, the instrumental mixes would always be very slightly off tempo from the final mix. It's generally very nominal.. in the range of 0.03% to 0.1%, but over the course of a song it will be a difference, if you're using the studio cut to record on. :)
