I think your invasions might be my favorite. The idea of putting Bloody Slash on Smithscript Daggers is ingenious, and immobilizing them with sleep pots to land it with bonus damage pairs really well. I always learn something from your videos. Keep it up!

@JareComFOME if we're not good at something, that's why training exists. Having high vigor is as a safety net. Which teaches you to lower your assessment skills. Like you said, "you're not good at pvp". Practice young ninja

I wasn’t that interested at first cuz of how slow it seemed like it was going to be, but the moment I heard that gong and recognized The Ministry of Darkness was playing I understood that it wasn’t “slow” it was methodical. The way you played and showcased this was so cool, it was more like an assassin than the “assassin” builds that are basically just dex with misericord. Also that duel with the other dude with the throwing blade was cool.

In both theme and presentation, this video and build was great. It's a shame that the throwing knives don't actually add anything meaningful to it in practical value though. Those things are such high effort, low yield weapons.
They’re not great as primary weapons, but they don’t weigh much so you can slap them on a build with the jump attack talisman to amp the damage a little and use it to finish enemies. Personally I use the smithscript cirques because they can curve around cover and the throws are harder to dodge. Great for invasions.
Finally a youtuber with good music Jesus!!! Although I find involuntary invasions annoying as hell it's part of the game... fun to watch love the Ninja build
@structuresnake6134 he was using the vines spell. He had his build setup for one shot. It's a range spell. So blues like him will sit behind the party and one shot an invader at long range while the invader is busy with the host. His mistake was that he came up front
Can confirm this build is fun and definitely usually one shots I’m not sure if you absolutely need the lack luster vigor but as a pvp sweat who dies on the hill of 60 vigor playing with lower vigor won’t matter if your patient and keep the shadows in true rogue fashion
One addition to this that I made was the rancor small bow with sleep arrows to still be able to get sleep off if your in a 1v1 and stealth is no longer viable but you still wanna get the sleep slash combo off
I love how people say the ss Daggers are useless. I have a profane alchemist build that plays very similar to your ninja. SS Daggers are my favorite weapon on it. So much range control.❤

Easily earned a sub from me with this one! I had personally always looked for a ninja/rogue archtype for these games but never really found one that satisfied me. The throwing blades were the right idea, but they had some issues on the release of the dlc, but they were thankfully somewhat fixed in the latest patch! There is still I think a bug with these weapons crits on larger types of enemies because the pull out motion does no damage at all. Thankfully, it works fine on single hit reposts, but otherwise, I'm greatly enjoying the PvE with this setup! It is very unique and refreshing.

I really love invasions that go for a theme, instead of the typical One-shot kill builds. This ninja build looks pretty fun. I also love how you go two sets of throwing daggers, each with a different ash of war too.

He still has motion controls on for emotes I think. I had to turn them off for pvp because of exactly that lol. I think it's only a playstation thing though.
You would really like the sword and claws of night, major dex scaling weapons that penetrate shields and the claws double as throwing knives with one of the best ashes in the game, they also BLEED.

Been eagerly awaiting a vid from you, only you would take one of the most underwhelming weapons of the dlc and make it work lol It’s one thing to have theme character in these games that’s effective in pvp, it’s another thing entirely to have a seemingly weak theme character do so well in pvp. Mad respect for your playstyle, it just goes to show the mind truly is the best weapon.
@@ambientx7 You know... that's fair enough, if that is the ideal way to wield them. I'd happily just settle for the increased range. I find that when I use them, it's tricky to stay at a range where I can consistently hit them, due to the very short range drop off. That's really my primary issue with them. My annoyance with the damage is really more of a PvE thing. I feel they could really use a PVE-exclusive damage buff. Untouched damage in PvP.
Weird build tbh. 80 ARC is kind of unneeded, as blood loss and other arcane scaling's basically stop gaining any significant benefit after 55 ARC. Those extra 25 points could go to something more useful like Vigor, which you only have 34 (which is insanity btw, I can only imagine how many times your health bar just gets deleted by one mistimed roll or some other bs). I would use blood infusion on the scattershot daggers since daggers are going to do shit damage regardless and the multiple hits from the ash of war will pair well with natural bleed build up. You could also utilize Eternal Sleep pots, which not only just gives you more options, but are easier to farm, and take away more FP from the afflicted targets. Lastly Cerprus Vial is kind of useless after you get spotted so you could probably hardswap to a different talisman that would be more useful like Lord of Bloods Exultation or Carian Filigreed (since you have 11 mind) Other than that you managed to get 18 minutes of clips for invasions so even despite these shortfalls and the overall bad weapon you are clearly very skilled at PVP, and I just think some of these build adjustments would make you have an easier time winning invasions more consistently, especially against meaner/more PVP prepared hosts and co-op's
@@bonelessthincrust Most of the damage is coming from the insane buff St Trina's Smile gives you and not the actual occult scaling, which would still be good at 55. Also not a single 1900 damage kill that I saw, so no 60 vigor players were oneshot. (unless I missed it) From what I rewatched, its about 700-800 damage (4:02) without the St Trina buff. St Trina's Smile gives 25% boost on a sleep proc, and stacked with alexanders shard 15% it stacks to about a 43% buff total which maybe paired with lord of bloods talis could crank even more damage out. But what could also explain a lot of the damage is the surplus of soreseal gamers that automatically take like 15% more damage. The most crucial difference is that with 34 vigor you can die to TWO greatsword hits, which even with lightroll is easy to get caught on bad terrain or a blood or frost proc stunning you through a roll and you just eat an attack that will just kill you.
I think the people suggesting that he pump vigor are missing the point of the build. This is a glass canon build. The whole point is to kite enemies with light rolls and throwing blades - not to sit in melee and trade. I agree that he might want to realocate those 25 points from arcane but throwing them in vigor just seems like a waste on a build like this.

Very interesting play style. You're not going into close combat when things are out of your favor, so light-rolling low poise build makes 100% sense. You'd need a hard hitting AoW, and choices like bloody slash or sleep evermore make sense, and you choose the more convenient one (doesn't require target being asleep), although sleep evermore can further combo into another R2 without sacrificing HP. Very creative. Just wondering, why not blood affinity? Is bleed buildup on this too slow?
I spoof them with someone else until I get 999 and then save it to the cloud. Whenever I'm about to run out I just save scum. Find a fellow ninja in the clan here in the comments and ask for help if you need it
@sum0san be lvl 125. Bandit highly recommended. Set character name, and both passwords to Ninja. Follow the art of Ninjutsu and never stray. Practice practice practice. When you go out there to assassinate the host, you represent us all
The blue in that first invasion had 414 hp... total. That's 10 vigor. AND then uses self harm spells... This has to be a challenge run or those thorns are a one shot... right??
@mythanks8283 I've been doing a lot of tests with martial arts. I still have not found a way to make it viable when eliminating my target. Last thing I want to do is release a new build just for the heck of it. When I drop a video, it's to teach the clan another technique on how to eliminate their targets. I want each Ninja to be successful. Not sell them snake oil
Oh master im in deep sorrow, im trying to master the arts of the duals daggers, the normal ones, im able to comfortably assassinate targets on a 1v1, but is so hard to defeat hordes of 3 with such little range/poise, do you have some wisdom that could bestow upon me? endure is a good help but just swinging blades with no regard of the enemy face is so non-ninja, i appreciate your help May the shadow be your ally and the darkness your refuge
Attack their back line. Always pounce from the shadows behind them while they're busy. Setup an ambush and sleep them, then hit them with bloody slash. Never attack from the front unless you're trying to get them to chase
Have you considered using the altered Nox Monk hood for your ninja? Not that I don’t enjoy the armour combo you’re using but it might also look cool EDIT: I’ve just watched a few more, you have, and it looks great! I love the ninja builds!
You just keep him at that level and play through th game? I mostly pve, but for lore purposes and to occasionally pvp, I'm thinking about doing something like that with adjusted pve talismans. Just found the channel recently though, really enjoy the vids
@majindeez18 Yes, what you see me use is also what I use in pve. Even down to the host trick mirror talisman. I don't put any replacements on for pve because it will teach my mind to become accustomed to that.
@Mehpiza No I do not have a discord. Any of my builds work for pve. Just be sure to study your opponent quickly. You don't have a 60 vigor safety net. Starting class is bandit lvl 125

@@ambientx7 yeah I know I use the Thiollier’s set with nox monk hood because it’s the only thing that makes the character feel darker and “undercover” because the prisoner chest just makes too big of a contrast with any pants unless you put some grey pants maybe. @Jericho396 if it's the back step throw it's actually a feint. That's when I hold R2 and Circle. Other times it appears fast because I'm reading my enemy and attack when they do. Zoning them.
Ah, I understand; it is necessary to maximize the 1-shot potential of Blood Blade. For the pure dexterity route then you would use Sword Of Night’s AoW for its 1-shot potential (shown in your other video)? That would be a different build not utilizing the Smithscript Dagger.

You're overlooking them. They do great chipping damage and cause frustration. Setting your target up for the finisher

You know... that's fair enough, if that is the ideal way to wield them. I'd happily just settle for the increased range. I find that when I use them, it's tricky to stay at a range where I can consistently hit them, due to the very short range drop off. That's really my primary issue with them. My annoyance with the damage is really more of a PvE thing.
I feel they could really use a PVE-exclusive damage buff.

It's due to high arcane and I have a sleep talisman that boosts my damage when sleep is applied to an enemy
It hits hard even in early game so not that surprising

Weird build tbh. 80 ARC is kind of unneeded, as blood loss and other arcane scaling's basically stop gaining any significant benefit after 55 ARC. Those extra 25 points could go to something more useful like Vigor, which you only have 34 (which is insanity btw, I can only imagine how many times your health bar just gets deleted by one mistimed roll or some other bs). I would use blood infusion on the scattershot daggers since daggers are going to do shit damage regardless and the multiple hits from the ash of war will pair well with natural bleed build up. You could also utilize Eternal Sleep pots, which not only just gives you more options, but are easier to farm, and take away more FP from the afflicted targets. Lastly Cerprus Vial is kind of useless after you get spotted so you could probably hardswap to a different talisman that would be more useful like Lord of Bloods Exultation or Carian Filigreed (since you have 11 mind)
Other than that you managed to get 18 minutes of clips for invasions so even despite these shortfalls and the overall bad weapon you are clearly very skilled at PVP, and I just think some of these build adjustments would make you have an easier time winning invasions more consistently, especially against meaner/more PVP prepared hosts and co-op's

Bloody Slash won't do anywhere near as high damage at 55 arcane. Looks like he's one-shotting 60 vigor players with a single use.

@@bonelessthincrust Most of the damage is coming from the insane buff St Trina's Smile gives you and not the actual occult scaling, which would still be good at 55. Also not a single 1900 damage kill that I saw, so no 60 vigor players were oneshot. (unless I missed it)
From what I rewatched, its about 700-800 damage (4:02) without the St Trina buff. St Trina's Smile gives 25% boost on a sleep proc, and stacked with alexanders shard 15% it stacks to about a 43% buff total which maybe paired with lord of bloods talis could crank even more damage out. But what could also explain a lot of the damage is the surplus of soreseal gamers that automatically take like 15% more damage.
The most crucial difference is that with 34 vigor you can die to TWO greatsword hits, which even with lightroll is easy to get caught on bad terrain or a blood or frost proc stunning you through a roll and you just eat an attack that will just kill you.
I think the people suggesting that he pump vigor are missing the point of the build. This is a glass canon build. The whole point is to kite enemies with light rolls and throwing blades - not to sit in melee and trade. I agree that he might want to realocate those 25 points from arcane but throwing them in vigor just seems like a waste on a build like this.

Very interesting play style. You're not going into close combat when things are out of your favor, so light-rolling low poise build makes 100% sense. You'd need a hard hitting AoW, and choices like bloody slash or sleep evermore make sense, and you choose the more convenient one (doesn't require target being asleep), although sleep evermore can further combo into another R2 without sacrificing HP. Very creative.

I spoof them with someone else until I get 999 and then save it to the cloud. Whenever I'm about to run out I just save scum. Find a fellow ninja in the clan here in the comments and ask for help if you need it

@mythanks8283 I've been doing a lot of tests with martial arts. I still have not found a way to make it viable when eliminating my target. Last thing I want to do is release a new build just for the heck of it. When I drop a video, it's to teach the clan another technique on how to eliminate their targets. I want each Ninja to be successful. Not sell them snake oil

Oh master im in deep sorrow, im trying to master the arts of the duals daggers, the normal ones, im able to comfortably assassinate targets on a 1v1, but is so hard to defeat hordes of 3 with such little range/poise, do you have some wisdom that could bestow upon me? endure is a good help but just swinging blades with no regard of the enemy face is so non-ninja, i appreciate your help

Attack their back line. Always pounce from the shadows behind them while they're busy. Setup an ambush and sleep them, then hit them with bloody slash. Never attack from the front unless you're trying to get them to chase

@majindeez18 Yes, what you see me use is also what I use in pve. Even down to the host trick mirror talisman. I don't put any replacements on for pve because it will teach my mind to become accustomed to that.

@Mehpiza No I do not have a discord. Any of my builds work for pve. Just be sure to study your opponent quickly. You don't have a 60 vigor safety net. Starting class is bandit lvl 125

@therealuntarnished oh no it's not an editing trick. The outfit with the Prisoner suit is all gray and matches well. The outfit here is the Thiollier's set which is all black
@@ambientx7 yeah I know I use the Thiollier’s set with nox monk hood because it’s the only thing that makes the character feel darker and “undercover” because the prisoner chest just makes too big of a contrast with any pants unless you put some grey pants maybe. I’m just looking for the best aesthetic for the ninja in this game and I can’t seem to find it. But thanks for your help I’ll try to find something

If you look at the damage output their hp is high. I'm at lvl125. It's how I have my stats allocated and my talismans that help

@Jericho396 if it's the back step throw it's actually a feint. That's when I hold R2 and Circle. Other times it appears fast because I'm reading my enemy and attack when they do. Zoning them.

Ah, I understand; it is necessary to maximize the 1-shot potential of Blood Blade.
For the pure dexterity route then you would use Sword Of Night’s AoW for its 1-shot potential (shown in your other video)? That would be a different build not utilizing the Smithscript Dagger.
