First service HONDA CRF300Rally after 12.000 kilometers. El Salvador 🇸🇻 |S6-E59|

  • In this episode I am riding to the capital of El Salvador: San Salvador. I have to go here because my Honda CRF300L Rally needs her first big service. In the last 12,000 kilometers I managed to break a couple of things (mostly because of crazy sea crossings in tiny boats) and some parts simply got worn after so much abuse...

Fantastic episode from Noraly. Loved the flashbacks explaining the various issues with Alaska - you are really becoming an outstanding film-maker, Noraly. I don't watch a lot of TV, but am hooked on your story right from Series 1. Stay upright, stay safe and stay a legend!

It's probably just in my head, but a fresh service and some new parts never fails to make the bike feel like new! Seemed like a great service center, good on the employees there for taking good care of all your concerns! Safe travels!

Thumb nail description should have been "Itchy Boots as pillion". Had to chuckle in hearing Noraly's excitement in describing the maintenance details. Non-riders, I'm sure don't get it but that's ok. 16:10, in the background the shop employee photographing the world-famous Itchy Boots and Alaska in the shop, clearly that will be in some marketing for the San Salvador Honda operation. Happy for Noraly to again have Alaska in tip-top shape and with new rubber too.

I have not owned a bike for 30 years, so I cannot explain why, but I really enjoy the maintenance videos. Maybe it's because I see the episodes where parts get damaged or broken and it's so satisfying to see them being replaced or repaired. So glad everything is ship shape again. So love your channel. Looking forward to the next phases of your trip.

Great story telling and video production. Also, forgot to mention sounds you inserted at the mystery holes- creepy noises😂- really well done. You are really making great content with strong production value. Brava!!!👏👏👏 STAY SAFE DEAR LADY. I’m afraid that might not be the only gunshots you hear. It's a little sad that many of these roads, which are considered secondary or arterial roads, are in such poor condition. I understand that some of these countries do not have the resources to maintain these roads, much less to upgrade them....But the landscape of many of these countries is spectacular, and should draw more tourist activity. Thank you, Noraly, for navigating these "charming" back roads, so we don't have to!
