Blows my mind that here we are in 2022 and we still CAN'T do a group selection to delete a group of appts in Google Calendar. C'mon Google! Get it together.
The infuriating thing is that years ago you *could* batch delete once you'd searched for them. Google, as it so often does, just said "F you, bozos. Eat my farts" - for seemingly no reason.
Emberassing that it is simply NOT possible to group-select multiple events at once in Google Calendar, like you can in every other shitty app. I mean, honestly? Saving the whole calendar, import all the stuff into a Microsoft or Apple software, delete the events and reimport the calendar into Google? What a shame, shame, shame!
Thank you, this video helped me a lot. To delete events one by one faster, select "Schedule" view, then use keyboard arrows keys to navigate through the event list, and then press delete key. This way you can delete events faster
I accidently imported a few hundred events incorrectly into my personal calendar by mistake. I searched the web but didn't find a suitable easy way to delete them. However I found the best way completely by accident. The best way to delete multiple is to use Samsung Mobile phone and use the Samsung Galaxy Calendar app (Not sure if this is only available on Samsung phones). This syncs with google and (like above) has the schedule view but it WILL allow you to search and select multiple events in one go and then delete them in one go. Easy :)
Google Calendar is so bad that to delete multiplue events I have to export my calendar, import in another, delete, export and then import on google's, WHY A MULTIBILLION COMPANY DOESNT HAVE SOMETHING SO FUCKING SIMPLE, anyways, thanks, I will definily go to other calendar and never return
I have a question you may be able to help me out with. I'm using a Samsung mobile phone. I use the Samsung calander and also Google calander but for some I have got several of the same event entered into the same date but I didn't save all of them, and also when they save, there saving a rediculous number of times but under times and dates such as 1969 1970. I wasn't even born then. Is there a way that I can set up my calander just to have one entry of each item I want instead of having multiple of the same entry. I've liked and subscribed to your channel. Awaiting your reply. Thanks

You don't need to go to schedule view to find the search button
