Same here and I’m rigging with a crane all day I’m wondering if it’s okay when I’m on top plates and joists rigging stuff up looking underneath. I don’t want it to fall off
I have the Sonys and love them. I don't know why these types of speakers haven't become more popular....great for walking outdoors because you can still hear the surroundings. I mostly use mine for watching tv without having loud sounds to disturb others in the home
Just won a set of these off BIDFTA for $13.16. Charged them after opening, & have been using them ever sense while unboxing & assembling my auction wins from today. Absolutely awesome sound quality. I've watched a movie, listened to some music, & have them on now while watching this video. I can't stand in ear headphones, nor earbuds. And over the ear headphone aren't always convenient to wear. I usually have a Bluetooth speaker around while working, but if i change locations it's not always possible to hear said speaker, unless I take it with me. Not always possible with hands full. This monster speaker is perfect for me. It goes where I go & doesn't affect ability to work. Wife won a set of earbuds before I won the monster set. I was using them while feeding our livestock, & the kept falling out onto the ground. That's a pain, & I won't be using them anymore.
Honestly, after having used these for 2.5 years, I have zero complaints when you can often find them for ~$50-$60. On a really good sale, ~$40. My mom loved the pair I got her so much that she just got the, "petite" model for $40 on sale with a coupon this week and she loves them too. They are a niche use product and you are completely right about not being able to use them in public. In the car and around the house, they are amazing.
Damn 2.5 yrs thats actually good, but at what point do you feel the battery life shortened? if these had easy replaceable internal battery this would have been so good, I bought one today and I do like them, just worried about battery life in the long run.
@@maimaibiri9045 I haven't noticed the battery degrade at all. I'm sure it isn't as good as brand new but it lasts a very long time on a single charge and I have never used it from full to depleted on a single use so I can't really compare the two. All I can say is that there is no noticable degradation
I don't know about this one...but I've had the Bose forever. I wear it to the grocery store all the time...because I like to hear if someone is trying to get past me. I keep the volume down...since I'm usually just listening to Podcasts. And people can't seem to hear...unless they are right next to me.
Just got mine and the sound quality is for me great! I tested it on my PC, Switch, Phone, and Steam Deck. I can literally feel the bass in my shoulder blades, which is fun! I didn't really notice the lag in my games, its latency is even better than AirPods pro to my experience. I was initially hesitant to get this one due to the comments about audio limiting but I have yet to experience that (partly because I'm not really an expert in audio technicalities so maybe it's in there just that I don't know it's already there if you know what i mean) So far everything I listened to sounded great and I'm satisfied with the overall quality of the lows mids and highs. P.S. I really, really regret buying that Hori Surround 3D surround gaming neck set -- that thing sounded SO bad I'm even ashamed to resell it even at half its price haha
@@orangedrink888 unfortunately for music games like djmax there’s delay but ive only tried djmax on a psp emulator on SD im not sure if the other versions have input delay adjustments if there is then yeah definitely a game changer!

Using android. Toggle "disable absolute volume" Setting under developer options & ive found out that it does not try to auto adjust volume when base turn on.
Thank you, Sir.. for such a complete and informative review. Appreciate it. But I'm on the verge between buying this, and Sony SRS-NB10. When you said you already tried Sony neck speaker (along other brands, was that the Sony speaker you talked about?) If not, have you ever tried it? and which one would you recommend more? Thank you kind sir.. VGE
I bought one off someone on Facebook marketplace, “still packaged in box.” Every time the bass hits, the music almost cuts low, it feels like it lowers every bass hit. Anybody have this problem?
Please consider doing a review on a replacement or better than the boomerang system. I have the boomerang and the Bose version. comparable still looking for the next level of performance.. ideally with more bass
9m:16s and you couldn’t clarify what the one button’s function that is not obvious. The button that looks like a large dot (to the left of the obvious power button).
How do u describe if it is flimsy and have to be carful throwing in your bag and try not to bend it to fit? Or it is very durable. Looking for something I use all day work and additional gaming at night so hope it not super flimsy to break
i cant seem to connect to my desktop with this speaker, i dont know if any one else had this problem. if you do and were able to fix it could you possibly inform me
Kinda wished it came with a protective bag or case. Same thing with the bose one. I had to buy a case for it for the bose one, guess ill have to buy one for this one too. Cant beat the $60 i just got it for though.
I have to disagree with the claim that it's not so much a personal speaker. As long as it's left at a reasonable volume, the sound absolutely stays localized.
I gotta have these for sure Keith 😂 😂, the cut price is right too! With Amazon prime coming in a few days I wonder if they will lower it even more or maybe take 10% off (tax)?
I've just bought one for £100 on Amazon, is my 4th speaker in 5 years as previously I've bought cheap ones to use when cycling to work which clearly don't last (I drop them all the time unfortunately). This however doesn't even charge?? or turn on without being plugged into a power bank... so I've ordered a refund. Shame as the sound was really good.
lo peor de los monster boomerang es que los speaker se rompen facil y suenan mal despues de poco tiempo! tengo mas de 5 y todos funcionan mal despues de poco tiempo!
Great… this turns people into a walking boombox. What’s the point when you have earbuds with much better sound quality? I could see it being good for movies though.
As a forklift driver who can’t use headphones anymore this thing looks good

I love the newer Sony Ones with Dolby Atmos. They sound fantastic
I think the current market maybe the new younger generations prefer looks and cosmetic over quality and functionality? Just an opinion

A demo of how they sound to others would have been great. You say it, but to hear it would have been useful.

How comfortable are they around your neck wail laying down or sleeping, playing white noise or relaxing sounds?
It’s not that comfortable for relaxing, better for sitting
I think it would be better to put them in front of your chest while sleeping.
Do they support surround sound?
What's your top 3 wearable speakers in order?
Are these more slimmer than the sonys?
Can someone actually play the damn thing
Yes
Doing it at this second
How do you review speakers but not play a demonstration of the sound?
Because the sound on our phones or pcs won't represent how it sounds?
@@elnoruego6854it can if he records using ambi recorder and the viewer uses headphones
how is this compare to the Bose wearable ?
Are these better for music than the Sony srs ns7 neck band ??? Thanks
This is better
Quick question from all the neck bands u tested which one sounds the best. I’ve heard the bose previously
I would put these and the Sony SRS-NSR7 over the Bose. In fact, the Monsters sound very similar to the Bose
Ok. Not bad for the price then… thx 4 the quick reply
I have one of the Monster and the Sony and there is not much difference. The only problem is that it starts off in full volume
I love these, they sound great. The only negative is that the battery life isn't that good.
Sold!!!! I’ll them out, because I don’t wanna keep putting AirPods in my ears.
I loved the part where you gave a demo of it in use.
Which neckband speakers would you recommend!? A Budget one nd a overall best??
How well do these sound with a helmet on riding low speed on trails?

Have you hooked it up to monster app? If so how did you do it? Because I can't seem to do it 😤

you can use this exclusive code "gamesky10" for 10% off, also you can use any code with this one together, it can be stacked for use. 😀
Where's the sound samples?
The bass vibrations is what really adds to the sound of these and there is no way to pick that up or replicate that with a sample
The mic could stand to improve. It sounds muffled.
Lol did you seriously refer to passive radiators as bass diaphragms.
