100% believe this. I only started growing + learning in difficult situations when I began asking myself "what is the universe trying to teach me" instead of "why TF is this happening to me". 🔥

Saw this quote the other day - feels especially fitting to share it here:
I sat with my anger and asked why it kept showing up. It said, “Because you’ve been hurt, and no one listened.”
I sat with my sadness and asked why it never left. It said, “Because I’m the love and care you never received.”
I sat with my fear and asked why it controlled me. It said, “Because I’m the part of you that’s still waiting to feel safe.”
Then I realized-these feelings weren’t my enemies. They were my wounds, asking to be seen.

I believe the #1 isolating technology for children in my community is our transportation choice, the automobile. Kids are not allowed to play where cars drive, and that happens to be everywhere. Parents have to drive kids so they can socialize. It is a complete lack of autonomy for these developing children, so they doom scroll instead and poison their minds. I have a solution to this problem, Un-Isolating Technologies. (Such as) The Electric Wheel has given me true freedom, complete independent sustainable transportation and reconnected me to my community. There are solutions when we identify and isolate the problems. Thank you for discussing this subject!

I lost my dad 10 years ago and tomorrow is his birthday ❤️‍🩹 I can totally agree with feeling closer now than I did back then. I ask him for guidance and talk to him more often and still think about him every single day 🩵

Thank you for sharing that-what a beautiful way to honor your dad’s memory. ❤️‍🩹 It’s so powerful how our connection with loved ones can deepen over time. Sending love and strength to you on his birthday. 🩵

Yess love this. The mantra I've been using a lot lately is "the more I let go, the better I feel." I'm also a huge fan of Michael Singer 💜💜 ETA idk that there "is always a way." His Warren Buffett story proves that. I completely agree with Rainn that the fourth door is a much better way! Go with the flow, ask for help, and act on your inspiration, but don't try to force, control, hustle, or manipulate. Especially when it involves violating others' boundaries.

Love your mantra-letting go really is transformative! 💜 Michael Singer's insights are so powerful, and I’m with you on embracing the fourth door approach. Flow, inspiration, and respect for boundaries truly create the best outcomes. 🙌

Hopefully someone out there going through it right now can read this and it helps.
I struggled a lot with internalizing the personal tragedies of life when I was going through them. Everything was always “why the fuck is this happening to me? I can’t handle this. I just want it to stop.”
I realized one day, in the middle of the worst time of my life, mid pandemic, while my father, the stabilizing force of my life, was sitting in a coma… things are happening. Full stop.
Bad things can happen to you. They do. Terrible things can happen to you.
But I wasn’t in the coma. I wasn’t dying of liver failure. I was simply experiencing the difficult emotions that come with watching someone you love go through something awful.
And it helped me breathe. I was still sad, angry, and all those things. But there was something about reminding myself that the bad was outside of myself that really helped bring me back from acting hysterical.

I found Alex B a few years ago through Yes Theory! Would love to see you interview members of that team as well. They really helped my soul boom in deciding what kind of young adult I wanted to be.
