as far as I know, the newly created/add chart of accounts, does not get mapped automatically to each accounting report. in the case of it is not mapped with accounting reports, how do we map it with report? is there a video on this at all?
Where did you find this code for the "Miscellaneous Expenses" ? What if I want to add " Utilities" or "Insurance " expenses ? what codes should I use? I'm from Belgium. Thanks
This code starts with 6 as it's an expense account, but perhaps a better code to use would have been between 643000 and 648000. This site has suggestions for codes to use: www.cnc-cbn.be/fr/node/2250?language_content_entity=en
There are a few reasons you might not see the import option. First, you might not have the correct access rights, so if you're not the admin of the database, check with your admin to see if they can give you the correct access rights. Next, depending on the version, it may appear as in the video, or it may be in the Favorites menu as you mentioned. You can also try upgrading the Accounting app via the Apps app. If none of these help, create a ticket at odoo.com/help and they'll be able to help you.
While some accounts can be deleted without issue, we recommend not deleting accounts because if you delete one that is set as a default value somewhere, it could cause errors. Instead, we recommend deprecating (archiving) unused accounts.
