The Yokohama Central Town Festival is an event that began in commemoration of the 151st anniversary of the opening of Yokohama Port, following on from the "Yokohama Central Town Festival Y151," and is held in preparation for the 200th anniversary. Five areas rich in history and tradition-Bashamichi, Kannai, Yamashita Park Street, Yokohama Chinatown, Motomachi, and Yamate-are collaborating to showcase the charm of Yokohama, a captivating port city, through music, entertainment, and gourmet cuisine.
Elegance is the official cheerleader team of the basketball team Yokohama Excellence. They perform captivating cheer dance routines to excite the audience at games and events.
