Mr. Retired King County prosecutor failed to mention that it's only a crime if, and only if, the name is similar to the person running for the same office if they are the incumbent. When I vote, I not only read the book but take the time to google more information when the book cant answer what i need to know. Im a mother of 2, a wife, i work fulltime in the service industry, I have 2 cats and a dog, a full garden bc produce is expensive...I lose time just taking the bus bc i dont drive! My life is as busy as it gets! There is NEVER an excuse to vote in such a lazy manner. Never and none. Do better, Washington.

I seem to recall “nonexistent” candidates who had dropped out of running for R nominee being on the last WA state ballot I filled out. I guess it was okay then?
I've never seen that before, but either way, either party, it shouldn't happen. It shouldn't even be allowed to get on the ballot period without significant review.
