I do what I want, when I want, how I want with who I want, where I want , when I want,… therefore of course I blind bought this one 😜 it’ll be here today ✅
Well, give that Amouage sometimes pays homage to landmark fragrances of the past, it can actually be an interpretation of something (especially if “journey” means “safari”).
@RaffiDiranBassclef Don't you just hate totally opaque bottles haha. A clear thin line on the side of the bottle would eliminate the issue. The only way to know how much is in there now would be to weigh a empty bottle and a full bottle then do some maths 🤓
Journey Man is a outstanding fragrance....BLIND BUY....I did that with ROYAL TOBACCO.....Luckily I loved it. Took me a while to understand the fragrance....but in the end I really enjoy it....
Ahah, I always wear this fragrance after a night of drinking, smoking and partying. I believe it can hide all of the other smells and make be looked at as a regular guy.
My pleasure, I do recommend it, it's my scent of the night, what i didn't mention in the video is that in the drydown it went all smoky, and i love it even more now
journey is seriously unique, a "real amouage". i do think however that there's touches of tom ford noir anthracite, but the pepper in the tom ford doesn't make you want to sneeze. i guess i don't really reach for this one for wear compared to some others, but i pull the bottle out a lot to just smell it lol. i have the old botte with the name on the sides and just "amouage" on the front....it lasts a long time but besides when you first spray, it doesnt project alot. i suppose though that if this was a super projector, you would be regularly charged with manslaughter because it would be too much.
I've got 6 from Amouage. Jubilation, Reflection & Reflection 45, Journey, Interlude Black Iris & Portrayal. I want to pick up 4 more at some point, Dia, Epic, Memoir & Ciel 'hard to find though now that last one'. I've owned some of them multiple times over the years, but ended up selling them. Some I've owned 4 or 5 time 😂 I had Jubi 40 too but sold it and bought a 100ml Xerjoff Alexandria ii, zero regrets!
@RaffiDiranBassclef I did like Jubi 40, but for £400 i would need to love it but it was just a like. It felt a bit one dimensional, kind of like it was missing something. I've always loved Alexandria ii and have always wanted the big 100ml bottle so it was a no brainer in the end.
I love, love, love Jubilation 40, but it comes to life in the heat. There is not one fragrance anywhere that's more luxurious than this one, especially not Alexandria II.
FCUK No 1 - A citrus, herbal fragrance which leaves a rich amber, musky scent on your skin. FCUK No 2 - A citrus, minty green fragrance, which leaves a spicy woody scent on your skin. FCUK No 3 - A citrus, blackcurrant fragrance, which leaves a warm, woody scent on your skin.
I thought it was No 1, I remember buying it from the local fcuk boutique, haven't seen it around anywhere, now i gotta trawl through old family photo albums to see if i can figure out which one it was
Journey man is a good one from amouage, underrated fragrance too
I love Journey Man - after that sichuan opening it actually quite reminds me of the original nuclear-strength Herrera For Men from the 90's
man it took me right back..waay back..back in time! 😆

The bottle for this is the best looking imo. Love the metalic Red with Gold accents 👌
the one flaw is that even with my insanely bright torch i'm unable to see the juice level, they really triple coat, oven baked that thing 😆

Royal tobacco is great, love the drydown in that one

Thank you Raffi I must get my nose on it one day ❤

Interesting. So many fragrances for me to experience ! I remember thinking this was more than a hobby... Back when i had a collection of a few dozen 😂
Let's just keep calling it a hobby, sounds much nicer than 'addiction' 😆
@@RaffiDiranBassclef exactly 😂

I can see the links to noir anthracite, I get the urge to wear that if i know i'm going to be outdoors in a forest during winter...weird 😆

I'd do that too, wasn't very impressed with jubi40
